Its easy to explain. What happens is the writer sells the song once its complete and who ever pays for it can use it. For example, Anthony Callea used 'Obvious' which was a westlife track. Ruben Studdard from american idol used 'Flying without wings' by westlife. X factor winner Leona Lewis used 'A moment like this' from American idol (Kelly Clarkson). Songs are always reused in other countries around the same time..in a lot of cases, the same year!

just watched the Arashi version.. Its good but foreign language discs will not sell in Australia.. Clearly the rights have been given to Ricky for the Aussie release. Common sense really.
