  • That was pretty dang awesome :D

  • Very faithful to the original yet it sounds fresh and modern. Props!

  • You played it on 14th fret? Isn't it supposed to be done on 12th fret?

  • dude can you please show us how to play this,im sure im not the first to ask.PLEEEEASE!!

  • That was great! Sounded just like it.

Would it be a bother to ask for the tab for this?

  • hey man

    great

  • Hey efcdrummer go suck a colossal dick and take your negativity, along with your extensive douchebaggery elsewhere. Perhaps your asshole. Oh, i forgot there's a gigantor dildo stuck in there.

  • very nive.you play very well.

  • wasnt great sorry

  • i like it man

  • sounds good.

  • good job

  • if u people really need tabs to learn this solo than dont fuckin play guitar this is the easiest solo i have ever heard and the video sucked it sounded nothing like the actual solo

  • It's not hard, as far as tabs/notes are concerned. But playing it like Luther is what makes it hard to do! It's extremely hard to play like Luther Perkins.

  • who ever said that you cant hear that its 'get rhythm' is mad. good job mate, im not complaining but there are one or two notes missing

  • Hey, it would be really great if you could send me the tabs.

  • have you got tabs to this one? cheers!

  • u can really play well geed!

    xxxxxxxx

  • well mate, to be honest, yeah you can hear that's its supposed to be get rhythm, but at times it's just too tinny and you've missed a few bits... mate it's just nae good, like.

  • dude do you even listen to johnny cash because this is like a replica!

  • Wow so many bad comments your all assholes....

I thought it sounds awesome. Great job.

  • wonderful thank you.

  • cool

  • thanks good job .

  • ? The little opening tic-tac bit is from "Walk the Line" the rest of it is from the Sun version.

  • @creelabc How about you try it better?

  • nice chin dooode

  • nice.

  • hi do you have a tab for this please? great work .

  • It's good, but the original key was played in E and sped up on the record a semitone to F. For higher voices you can play it in G and it sounds good, hence the film.

  • no actually luther and johnny always put a capo on the first fret to make it come into the key of F.

  • Johnny used a capo in the later years, I watched the Town Hall Party footage and when they played these songs, they did it in the E position. It's entirely possible they tuned a semitone sharper to get that brighter tone.

  • When they played they actually had their guitars tuned up a half step so that the E chord would be and F and make it easier for Johnny to sing. If you watch Johnny when he peformed at his tribute in 99' he played Folsom Prison Blues in E as opposed to the Sun record and the live at folsom record, both of which were played in F.

  • That sounded great

  • to ellum68: is this you playing this? its wonderful!

  • Yea, it's me. I have another video uploaded with the basics of how to play. Be sure to read the description on it.

  • really cool! Hell - do more - maybe I'll learn something on my guitar

  • awsome!

  • Man! i like the way you play it very much, would you be so kind and send me the tabs ?

  • Loved it.

  • Good job! Sounds exactly like the CS version.
