Durring WWII, japs would've surrendered in an instant if the U.S. had these sounds playing at night time! especially Guadalcanal, it took 6 mnths to fall to America, With these sounds, Two days! lol
Didn't pay attention to the title of the piece. I wanted to have jungle sounds to do my homework too... Within the first 30 seconds, I was like, "I KNOW I've heard that on Jurassic Park.... And that... And THAT too! Wait a second. Why are there dinosaur sounds all over the place?" Especially at 1:04, I was like, "Okay, that's definitely Jurassic Park." Pretty sure that and 1:17 were velociraptors... So yeah, all that made me look twice at the title... So much for my research paper, huh? Awesome!
there are multiple ways to do this...but what I did was to download realplayer flash downloader... and after downloading this video I use professional video converter for free which can be found in youtube search...
Very nice. Love how you inputted the animal's sounds and all the different vocalizations they make, not just one type. Velociraptor vocalization has to be my favorite out of all that of the Jurassic park Dinosaurs. Probably because they use a goose's hiss in the mix :p I got hissed at by a goose once while walking around on campus... Was raining really hard and I didn't see it and I got to close and it was like "HISISSSS D:<" and I was like "D: AHH!"
Reminds me a lot of when everyone was looking around for the dilophosaurs. It's a great ambience. A cavernous feeling, peaceful but ominous. It's the feeling of "quiet, TOO quiet".
By the way, those vocalizations you captured sounded very clean and clear. were those merely captured straight from the film?
Right! I used a desktop-recoring program called FRAPS to get the sounds from the movie. But the cricket and bird sounds are from other sources. Do you know that the makers of Jurassic Park used dolphin voices for the velociraptor ;-)
How'd you get the dinosaur sounds but not the voices of the people talking?

The original forest background was used a few times in the lost world jurassic park, battlefield vietnam, and a few relaxing ambience sound makers.
It seems like you're being hunted by a raptor in the beginning.

I have fraps for my computer but it never has sound! Do you think you could explain why? Do I need a sound card or something?
beyondbedandbathisme 2 years ago
search for "how to get sound with Unregistered Hypercam 2"
they're all the same as far as what you have to enable.

@Delta138boss The sound for the aliens in Alien movies was a baby elephant shouting at the same time as a peacock.
