BTW on the personal incdome tax, it is only 1/3 of the money government gets...if we only rolled back governemtn spending to 2000 levels, we wouldn't even need a personal income tax. The first few times we had it, it was repealed by the courts as unconstitutional.

If I start my own company, which we all have the chances to do, I am starting it to make money for myself and my family...not be forced by the government to support those who did nothing. yeah, complete abolition of income tax is, if not ridiculous, devil's work. poor people pay little income tax or none at all, while most of it comes from rich people. he seemingly supports abolishing it at federal level, i.e. the states may still impose income taxes. his method seems to be simple, cut federal spending and cut federal taxes. well you may argue about that cutting spending part too, especially on federally funded health and education.

DillonX -- I am pretty sure that Ron Paul has not been excluded from the debate. My understanding is that there is no invitation yet, but he has not been excluded. What matters is whether he's polling at 5% and he is at 7% in Iowa, so there should be no problem.

You can register a month EBFORE your primary in most states. Go to your local DMV and find out if you can register. It is easy as 1 2 3 my friend.

The Ron Paul campaign is asking supporters not to call Fox or the Iowa GOP. There is an interview worth listening to on the link in the debate story on ronpaulradio dot com (second story down) I appreciate your frustration with Fox, however.

DillonX -- I am pretty sure that Ron Paul has not been excluded from the debate. My understanding is that there is no invitation yet, but he has not been excluded. What matters is whether he's polling at 5% and he is at 7% in Iowa, so there should be no problem.
Also, CNN has a debate Nov. 28th, which will include Ron Paul.

I disagree. No government would be just as bad as a huge government, just in different ways.
It's like how pure capitalism will never work, just as pure communism will never work. They both require too many drastic changes to human nature to be sustainable.

I was the man witb the little blonde boy on his shoulders 4 oclock from stage. When i was at the Ron Paul Briefing my son yelled "IS RON PAUL HERE?" and the whole room was like aweeeee.

We've got to inspire even more of this country's people to get reinvolved in the system and VOTE for Ron Paul. We need Ron Paul to help point the way out of the hole we have allowed the politicians and bankers to dig for ourselves. We can no longer sit back and ignore, or simply watch. This situation requires action. Call your senator, tell them a no vote for S.1959! The House already passed HR1955... time is short.
