It shows the experiments by a swiss doctor Hans Jenny in the 60's. You are right about sound in space, but this is not far off from the big bang theory. What is the big bang if not one big vibration.

The point I think that David is making is that all things are made from a vibration, all matter are waves as different vibrations it does not matter if it is sound or electromagnetic, light, or our thoughts, all vibrate in some way. David was illustrating this fact and getting the idea into our heads that all is not solid but a wave of some kind. We can only sense a very limited band of waves so it not possible to and rather silly in my view to split hairs on sound v electromagnetic.

to me this guys theory is indicative of string theory. in string theory the entire universe is made up of small strings, and when these string vibrate there is matter, the degree of intensity in the vibrations is what makes up the variations. so to say sound is everything is... somewhat correct. It's important to have an open mind. People like this, as wild as they sound, offer relevant theories that should be investigated, not dismissed. We shouldn't assume anything is 100% right or wrong just yet, especially when space exploration is relatively a new thing for our species and scientists continue discovering new factors to add to the equation. Thus, investigations regarding sound could offer a missing piece to the 'how-the-universe-was-created' puzzle. Just my two cents. ;)
This reminds me of the youtube videos on perpetual motion machines. These people take bits and pieces of science that support their claims and mix them up into something that "sounds" like it might be logical to the uneducated. But yet ignore major laws in physics. In the case of perpetual motion machines: violating the laws of thermodynamics; in the case of this video: ignoring the fact that sound is a phenomena of a medium and in a vacuum there is no medium.

The electromagnetic spectrum goes from low frequency earth quake resonance all the way through sound, light and X-ray to Alpha frequencies. Sound is the wrong wavelength term, you need to use UHF for particles in a vacuum (outer space). Although, where there are gases escaping from matter, and forming atmosphere, yes, sound does play a part, but the pure tone of a sine wave is never present in white noise or what amounts to radio static within the UHF band.
As usual, whatever is wrong or right by way of the facts, David Icke makes us think and create dialogue between us. More important than if it's right or not, in my humble non-scientific opinion

@beddo I do understand the difference, I have been making electronic music for almost 30 years. Again, I clearly see where he has made the error in the technical aspects, but the fundamentals of frequency vibration to me is the core issue. However it is a shame that his explanation is technically flawed. As for my beliefs, I keep them open to transformation, as this is often a fundamental aspect of progressing science. But as a musician & artist I do like a little esoteric curiosity also.

@JezebelDecibel It's all about frequency of waveforms though. All waveforms, not just the sounds/colours that the human ear/eye can percieve. Astronomers have recently measured the reasonant frequency of a nearby black hole and worked out that it generates a B flat tone, the same as that created by a vuvuzella. It also makes string theory seem a lot more plauseable too. Or why we listen to sad songs when we are feeling blue.

His point being, sound/vibration is the force behind all creation, as it is "sound" which gives form to all substance. In the Christian mythology that force of creation is called God. Basically Icke could very well have said, "In the beginning, there was Sound". You don't have to be so literal when trying to grasp things. Lateral thinking makes understanding life so much easier.
Snake oil. It seems he's being overly simplistic to sell a metaphysical belief rather then focusing on the actual science. Sad that, but so called prophets have been doing that ever since there have been amazing things to sell to people.
As I have said before, Icke points out much that is true, and has even coined 'problem-reactrion-solution', etc., but he is careless with his scolarship sometimes. If he wants to quote things from spiritual texts, etc, he should use the exact words, considering that he is using the quote to lend credance to his ideas. But often he rattles off his own version, which surely does nothing to improve his standing amongst intelligent people who would otherwise be open to his ideas.

However, no vacuum is truly perfect, not even in interstellar space, where there are still a few hydrogen atoms per cubic centimeter. So, if a tree falls in the woods and there are only a few hydrogen atoms there to hear it, does it still make a sound?

Do you know what a sound is? It is a wave. A wave of what? A wave of particles displaced in a certain fashion. It stands to reason that the particles have to exist before sound; Therefore, the Big Bang was not caused by sound. Moreover, in your cosmological theory, why doesn't gravity play the part it does today? If it did nothing, how do you explain the existence of heavy elements?

The point I think that David is making is that all things are made from a vibration, all matter are waves as different vibrations it does not matter if it is sound or electromagnetic, light, or our thoughts, all vibrate in some way. David was illustrating this fact and getting the idea into our heads that all is not solid but a wave of some kind. We can only sense a very limited band of waves so it not possible to and rather silly in my view to split hairs on sound v electromagnetic.

to me this guys theory is indicative of string theory. in string theory the entire universe is made up of small strings, and when these string vibrate there is matter, the degree of intensity in the vibrations is what makes up the variations. so to say sound is everything is... somewhat correct. It's important to have an open mind. People like this, as wild as they sound, offer relevant theories that should be investigated, not dismissed. We shouldn't assume anything is 100% right or wrong just yet, especially when space exploration is relatively a new thing for our species and scientists continue discovering new factors to add to the equation. Thus, investigations regarding sound could offer a missing piece to the 'how-the-universe-was-created' puzzle. Just my two cents. ;)

These people take bits and pieces of science that support their claims and mix them up into something that "sounds" like it might be logical to the uneducated. But yet ignore major laws in physics. In the case of perpetual motion machines: violating the laws of thermodynamics; in the case of this video: ignoring the fact that sound is a phenomena of a medium and in a vacuum there is no medium.

This is stupid, he is using the term 'sound' very incorrectly. "Sound" - like "color" - exists only in our minds, and it is the result of our brain interpreting the oscillation of the stapes bone (along with other ear structures), whose vibration is in turn the result of rapidly vibrating/resonating air particles. Rapidly vibrating matter creates the movement of the air particles (ex: piano string) which allows us to hear. Someone explain to me how our thoughts create "sound". Icke is full of BS

The electromagnetic spectrum goes from low frequency earth quake resonance all the way through sound, light and X-ray to Alpha frequencies. Sound is the wrong wavelength term, you need to use UHF for particles in a vacuum (outer space). Although, where there are gases escaping from matter, and forming atmosphere, yes, sound does play a part, but the pure tone of a sine wave is never present in white noise or what amounts to radio static within the UHF band.

@beddo I do understand the difference, I have been making electronic music for almost 30 years. Again, I clearly see where he has made the error in the technical aspects, but the fundamentals of frequency vibration to me is the core issue. However it is a shame that his explanation is technically flawed. As for my beliefs, I keep them open to transformation, as this is often a fundamental aspect of progressing science. But as a musician & artist I do like a little esoteric curiosity also.

Astronomers have recently measured the reasonant frequency of a nearby black hole and worked out that it generates a B flat tone, the same as that created by a vuvuzella. It also makes string theory seem a lot more plauseable too. Or why we listen to sad songs when we are feeling blue.

His point being, sound/vibration is the force behind all creation, as it is "sound" which gives form to all substance. In the Christian mythology that force of creation is called God. Basically Icke could very well have said, "In the beginning, there was Sound". You don't have to be so literal when trying to grasp things. Lateral thinking makes understanding life so much easier.

As I have said before, Icke points out much that is true, and has even coined 'problem-reactrion-solution', etc., but he is careless with his scolarship sometimes. If he wants to quote things from spiritual texts, etc, he should use the exact words, considering that he is using the quote to lend credance to his ideas. But often he rattles off his own version, which surely does nothing to improve his standing amongst intelligent people who would otherwise be open to his ideas.

Outer space has very low density and pressure, and is the closest physical approximation of a perfect vacuum. However, no vacuum is truly perfect, not even in interstellar space, where there are still a few hydrogen atoms per cubic centimeter. So, if a tree falls in the woods and there are only a few hydrogen atoms there to hear it, does it still make a sound?

Sound takes many forms.
In 1942 Nikola Tesla said to Bergestersser
"If you want to find the secrets of the Universe, think in terms of energy, frequency and vibration."
The new quantum reality is starting to reveal that everything is in some way energy, frequency and vibration & Tesla was one of the first to understand this.
David Icke's explanation is a little pore, but his direction is close.

Here's David telling us, with stunning effect, that particles were formed into planets, galaxies, solar systems, etc through sound alone. Do tell David, where did the particles come from?

He's close, but when he says everything is sound, he gets way off track. Thought vibration does indeed have some of the same characteristics as sound, even down to the overtones and "Octaves", but it is not at all sound. =/

Anyone know where there is a video like this where I can show my daughter what rap music does to her vibration? I can talk her until the cow's come home about the importance of what music she chooses to listen to, and its affect on her energy fields. A visual would be much better, since she's a teen and tune's out my well meaning advice.

If sound created galaxies how did it travel? Sound needs a medium to travel in ie air or water. Is there air in space? Matter is energy modified to a slow vibration, electro magnetic forces are involved too. Incidently the energy that seems to appear in what we call empty space, appears and is destroyed constantly, the size of space and te energy in it would indicate a source, have a think and see if you can figure where it comes from. A supreme being? The sheer volume of energy! Bit scary!

I can't help but laugh at the posts from others. Everyone knows what's true, just ask them. It doesn't matter if the things they are taught in school is the "new" science. The ancients used sound to do many things, just because science dismisses everything post digital is silly. How limited their view of life, the universe, science, and themselves. Again: Its only the dead fish that flow with the stream and the same can be said for humans. David Ike is a little left field and he dose not always describe his ideas the best, but he is most defiantly alive and swimming against the current. For that alone I admire him.

@Shodan82 Understand this, I do not believe everything David Icke says. However, I truly admire people who think outside the box , as it is that process that leads to knew ideas. All though history people have laughed at the different thinkers, but it's out of that group that progression comes form. Progress never comes form conformity. This is why I always listen.

@Shodan82 I am not defending David Ike, I support of all the lunatics of this world. He may want to sell books & many of his subjects are off in my opinion. Still, I love people who think outside the box regardless of being perceived as right or wrong. The world being round was once considered a pseudo-scientific conspiracy theory. Science need the lunatic hypothesis also. David Ike is one of the few men at his age that is still attractive, so he is doing something good for a lunatic :-)

I recently had an 'awakening' when I realized how I had, without realizing it, been allowing ICKE's world-view to influence my OWN, with a kind of naive trust (since he is FOR the people, and AGAINST the Elites), that I swallowed such ridiculous (and in retrospect, irrelevant) notions as some of the Elite being blood-drinking reptilians in disguise. I'm not dismissing EVERYTHING he says, he does lift the veil on alot. But goodness, I fell for some utter shit, too.
