I hope you all know that this is just an episode of the tv show charmed when phoebe (alyssa Milano) is turned into a genie because she freed jinny (Saba Homayoon) so no this isnt an acutall movie so stop saying that these people are crap and the orginal where great when this actually isnt i dream of jeannie!!

Except for the bottle, the theme song and the Jeannie costume, it doesn't evoke the original show at all, and "bringing it up to date" has apparently done the premise no favors. Give me the original please!

They did a teenager version of jeannie with a teenage surfer finding the bottle and did cartoon version of My favorite Martian which they changed to Martians and Who knows why Bill Bixby like character was a martian. They also did a cartoon version of Star Trek and a cross between Gilligans island and Lost in space called Gilligan's Planet.

@shoufalcon You are SO RIGHT! I can't believe how they killed off the entire "Bewitched" enterprise with that piece of shit movie. They originally wanted Jim Carey to play the role of Darrin, but couldn't get him. So they went with Will Farrell, and that was the beginning of the end for the film. If they'd simply stuck with the original idea (a mortal married to a witch), it could have worked (especially with MacClaine as Endora). But the sandwiching of a tv show within a movie made no sense.

@Sheldonwh Yeah the bewitched movie kind of sucked and I like Nicole Kidman and Shirley McClaine can't say the same for Will Farrell, we knew it was fantasy didn't have to have a movie to tell us that. Would have been better if just followed orginal storyline but they wanted to explain the two Darrins if tv viewers didn't worry about it why would they?
