  • We recorded our narration in advance using Audacity, then used those clips to guide our actions. When we edited the video, all we had to do was turn off the sound on our video clips so that our audio clips would be crisp and clear. That way, if someone messed up on their narration, we didn't have to restart the filming. Easy peasey!

  • This is a fantastic idea for students to demonstrate proficiency in procedural narrative writing. It's in my Favorites and is coming to my classroom in September.

  • Great job on the video. You rock!

  • I used your video as a starting point for my 6th graders. Great job of expaining the process. I have 155 students. I told my students to practice, practice, practice. I did not edit - they had 2 chances and we kept in any little mistakes.

  • Unfortunately in my school, I see students for 35 minutes every 6 school days. This simple project can span 6+ weeks! If you have more time in your classroom, student editing is easily possible.

  • Great instructions! But the teachers edit the video? Hmm.

  • Nice work!
