Awesome creation! I had a couple questions... I was wondering is it any kind of webcam that you used to scan the sides? And did you need additional software for the scanning? Or is all done in the Mindstorms NXT program?
@HussSalem1 Yes it's a usual webcam. Actually I used 3 softwares, none of them is the official mindstorms software. I used Bricxcc to write the program that goes on NXT. I have a program (written by me) running on PC, that reads webcam, controls the NXT and communicates with "CubeExplorer".
Feel free to send message if you want more details. :)
@Legomind0 Its made out of robotic lego, NXT... The webcam scans the faces of the cube and a program running on the PC solves it and sends the moves back to the robot....
@aurelio703 Okay, but what I want to know one years, how you send these movements into your robot? I can also finally deal with movements of the computer!
Very cool! It is one of the faster LEGO Rubik's cube solvers around. I've created a playlist of some of the others including one that can solve a 4x4x4 cube. See my channel - IAssemble

@aurelio703 Ah... That clears it up. I'll wait on trying to build one for myself. Need to get a rubix cube first. :P
Thanks!

did u do all this with just the nxt 2.0 kit?? I want to buy the kit so im wondering if you can make some other cool stuff with just that kit
sportsguy831 1 year ago
@sportsguy831 Actually I used the NXT 1.0, most of the pieces are from the kit, only the gears and the weels are from other legos.
- I think you should buy it, there's a lot of cool stuff you can build with it. Have you ever had a robotic lego, or this will be your first one?

@aurelio703 yeah this will be the first one i own. should i get the nxt 2.0?

@sportsguy831 If you like robots I think you will enjoy the NXT 2.0, if you need any help you can ask me
