This game has actually taught me a lot of things, the number one thing is as humans we were given the gift to feel emotions: pain, sorrow, love, joy etc. Your pain is your own and you should carry your own pain and not someone else's or let that person carry your own pain. We cant save everyone in this world but we can keep their memory alive and we cant always help a person in pain, sometimes you have to let them stand on their own feet and let them learn for themselves

some of you may hate me, but i expected more from this game.

i think i feel this way because i couldn't connect to rei and her pain from losing yuu, and here's why: i don't know him at all. in FF1 i got to know mafuyu, and in FF2 mayu was always with mio, but in FF3, i only saw rei crying for yuu and i was like "get over it". seriously. i expected more from that so i could really feel like crying in the end like i did in FF2

@marlissaaldora if you're talking about Rei and Yuu, then yes Yuu dies and took her tattoos to prevent her from dying. By the time Rei dies, he'll be gone, because of the tattoos destorying him.

I don't have this game but I have followed this from FF1 all the way to this point. Now wonder this game is so popular. It really is an exquisite master piece IMO and Yuu's parting words....were very meaningful.

As long as she lives on, so does he. I believe Rei can carry on with pride of the living. Yuu's parting words will surely help her get through this.

This is more like psychological horror (ala Silent Hill, Jacob's Ladder, The Shining, etc.) rather than slasher film type stuff. Slasher films don't scare me at all. They're just too cliche.
