I see your water is running. I couldn't get mine to start so I took that off altogether and am just using the tank. The next time you do a water change can you do a video on how you got it to start flowing again because maybe I just did something wrong. Can you help me please?
@karisma210 this tank was a gift to somebody. so i dont have it anymore. did you make sure water is filled up to line and nothing is blocking the water flow through filter
@karisma210 tilt you filter to the left or right to allow any air to escape. Then put it back straight again and like wolf says make sure the water is at the correct level.
@karisma210 If you read the directions, you would know that you have to let it run for a while. Pumps need to be primed. I had to bring my water level above the max line as well as pour some water into the top tray of the filter. I ran backward for a little bit, but once the air was gone, all was good. Priming took about 15 min for me.
@karisma210 they state in the directions that the first time you plug the filter unit in you may need to unplug and plug it back in a few times to get the impeller to spin the right way. I have this happen to me a lot so I do what is stated in the directions and water starts to flow normally through the filter unit.
Hi, Does this aquarium have one or two electric plugs for filter and lights? I would like to have a timer for the lights but that doesn't work if it would also switch off the filter :(
So the moving water doesn't affect your Betta? I wanted to pick up this tank but was worried it'd stress my Betta out with maybe having problems gulping air and the lack of being able to maintain a bubble nest... From your experience is your fish OK and happy in the tank? I'm a little nervous too that it'll try and jump out the tank since there's no lid...
@wolf040882 Awesome. Thank you so much. I can't wait to get one for my little guy. ^-^ Now I just need to figure out if I should get the 5 gallon or the 6.5 gallon. Oh, and what heater do you recommend?
I really love this tank and thought about getting one but because it has no top I wonder how to heat it. Bettas need their water to be kept at least at 78 degrees. Do you keep this tank heated?

I really like the way you decorated this tank, themes well for a Betta. Also I like your choice of background music.

@wolf040882 Not sure. All there was is the filter and light and the plastic door that covers it. Other than that I have no idea what is the problem.

@karisma210 Do you need to prime it by putting water in the head?

Betta will do fine. Perfect tank for him. Just make sure you have a heater in there for betta. My betta has been like that for 3 months now

@BeccaFStar If you put the rocks/tray over the filter hole, the water doesn't splash around too much. I shut off the filter during feeding

@MrMomoitin
no, fish tank wouldn't get cloudy from having a betta fish. new fish tanks could get cloudy but it goes away after a few days
