  • Another advantage to LEDs: Unlike the CFL-type energy saving bulbs, the LEDs don't have any mercury in them :-)

  • i have one of the frist led light t Bulbs

  • Thanks for commenting.

  • think this is the best led configuration for use like a bulb remplacement in house , all other led lamp are only directional light with only " 1 spot on the wall " like a flashlight , don't buy cheap bulb with much led (up to 160 led on one bulb) because this is so cheap and have no light on it , in one room you see nothing with 1 led bulb up to 160 low voltage led on it . How to chose led bulb it like this one , verify bulb to have 1W power each led inside ,1W led = more bright 160 low led ..

  • I've been beating my brain up trying to figure out lumen to watt equivalents, and I need all mine to be able to light up a room via a ceiling fan or something. I'll check chinadepot out!

  • How many lumen's do you need? we can look it up got you.

  • I got a bulb that amazon claimed to burn 6 watts but my kill-o-watt reads that it burns 10 watts. The listing on Amazon claimed it was as powerful as a 50 watt lightbulb but so does my cfl. My cfl is uses 22 watts and is more than twice as bright.

  • We have no information on the Amazon products. We have had no problems with our bulbs, and get many repeat orders after the trial orders by our customers. We know that CFL bulbs are brighter. It depends on your needs. Personally, i don't need any mercury accidentaly getting into my home.

  • You soon save the cost in life of the bulb and in lower electric bills. The bulb lasts over 50,000 hours. We now have smaller sizes and brighter bulbs. They get better all the time.

  • Why so big?

    Can't fit in many fixtures.

    Too expensive.

  • Dear Chinadepot,

Do you have an equivlant 100watts daylight type bulb?

If yes what is the model number?

    Thank you

  • @XavierOriginal Sorry, not yet.

  • We have had no safety problems with these bulbs. They run very cool.

  • 75% more efficent??? like 7.5% (3 Watt vs 40) or 92.5% less power needed, & I though crusty dudes had had their math ok..

  • nice...do u think these can explode though?

  • Hi, These bulbs are very low power and are not prone to burning or exploding. We have no record of this happening. They also last 50,000 hours.

    Thanks for the comment.

  • but does it get bright as normal bulb?

  • No it is not as bright, but it is bright enough, and saves you over 90% on power consumption.

    Thanks for asking,

    Walt

  • @chinadepot thank u for ur reply.. me going for philips bulb getting 11 for my home i have just install 3kv of solar power system in my home its working great... and i think this bulb will help me a lot in power..

by the way i am from india,,, and the brand u show me we dont have here... the best brand i saw was Philips and thx for sharing it

  • You are very welcome. I have an office in Gujarat

    Walt

  • @chinadepot Oh thats nice i am from mumbai so what kind of office u have there?

  • you use 100 watt lights in your house? I'd need sunglasses to visit you you. 60watt. is plenty for us. or 15watt CFL.

  • Pardon me its lumens or candle power not power and they are verry expensive... ok ok ckecking your ebay site. No lumens or candle power rating .40 watt bulb=490 lumens. I use a lot of 60 watt =850lumens-candle power. NO CFl or LED replacement can match . But i will continue looking and YOU have the best price thanks

  • A 60W standard bulb has an output of 750 Lumen. A 11W CFL has an output of 725 Lumen. You can buy those almost everywhere. Currently I have two 8W LED lightbulbs which can be dimmed and have each an output between a 40W and 60W standard bulb.

  • they are perfect bulb i have fitted them through out my home

    although i used 240v downlights

they wont burn out what so ever

they infact are likely to out live you

they arnt poisonous what so ever

they only 3 materials are metal , epoxy and semiconductor material

and also they dont emit UV or electromagnetic waves which means here in britain people cant find an excuse not to buy them as they have caused resistance buying the cfl's

  • Thank you for your comment.

  • LED are still too expensive on initial cost.

  • But, do they burn out? Are they poionous (HG, phosphorous)? Do they emit harmful electromagnetic waves and/or UV?

  • I like it, but i can't see anything in my house with a 40 watt light. I need an equivlent 100 watt light.

  • 3x40W=120W..
