I met Bob Wilkins when I was 8 years old and a paperboy with the S.F. Examiner. He spent about 15 minutes talking to me and I was completely awestruck. He gave me a couple of cool movie photos and an autograph inscribed to me as a 'real ghoul'. 40 years later, and I still think Bob Wilkins was the kindest and coolest person I have ever met. And it always reminds me to consider how I treat any little kid I might meet. RIP and thanks Bob. You were one of a kind and S.F. was lucky to have you!
I was lucky enough to meet Bob Wilkins a few times when he appeared at WonderCon in SF. He was a hell of a nice guy, and will be missed. Thanks for this.
Thanks! Bob loved the talents of Ernie Fosselius (whom I had the pleasure of meeting and chatting with recently at the SF premier of WATCH HORROR FILMS--Keep America Strong!).

Absolutely awesome. Thank you so much for this! Brings back memories of growing up in the mid `70s in Northern California.... (in Atlanta now)

Poor Bob...he was my conduit to all things cheesy and good when I was a kid.
Rest in a very dry and sarcastic peace, Mr. Wilkins.
