Hey Fretless- is there a reason you go on each of his videos to put the same comment? If you don't like the sizzle, don't order the steak! I've seen the band a few times, and he's always great. At first, when I saw him that I wasn't sure ... But, like a great magician, if you look really carefully, the things that he is doing are more complicated than you might first have thought. Once I did that, I realized that what he was achieving on the bass was truly spectacular...
I'm glad someone else realizes this dude is a novelty bassist and a one trick pony. I just don't see anything in the hype that I couldn't go to Guitar Center on the weekends and see. IMHO
