what does he mean by 4 parts water to 1 part coffee?

What I mean by that is no matter what size you choose you need to have 4 parts water to 1 part coffee. An example would be 4 cups of water to 1 cup of coffee or 4 liters of water to 1 liter of coffee. It is nothing more than a way to describe ratios that allows you to scale the brew to what ever quantity you need. Does this help?

Once I feel like I have pushed coffee as far as a home roaster/brewer can go I plan to learn how to make good tea. I have used the tea pouches and it just doesn't have much flavor. I want to order some good tea leaves off the internet and try making tea the right way.

That is the beauty of good coffee, it shouldn't need cream, sugar, or anything. Now of course some people like a little cream in their coffee because they like the taste, but you don't have to add anything because it needs it.

It is a weaker coffee. It is strange, it doesn't really taste watered down or anything like that, it just is milder. The fun part is playing with your water to coffee ratios and finding the one that suits you the best.

I didn't drink any while making this video, atleast not until the end. Sadly, I used the last of my beans to make this brew.  But I did roast coffee for the first time that night so hopefully once I get that down I can show you all how I roast coffee at home.
