I think I understand, YES, He had Hobbes in his sight multiple times, and yes, it would have been so easy to just let guns loose and destroy Hobbes. BUT Hobbes was one of the Colonel's closest friends :*( Each time he had Hobbes in his sight, and could have destroyed him, his old ties to Hobbes stopped him... How can someone kill their own best friend so easily, even after they committed such an act.

The battle went on and on until finally, he worked up the courage... to kill his best friend.

always bugged me how he's able to get all the way back to the berths, get his flight suit and helmet, then get back to the flight deck with a ship ready to go without anyone stopping him

But this pilot is flying like he had a bad joystick or only a keyboard. Also I would not waste my rockets like that. Apart from that good maneuvering!

whoever was the pilot in this run flies VERY conservatively this fight could have been over a few minutes sooner than it was

great playing. i also remember this exact mission, which is a very difficult one.

if played with a keyboard or gamepad, then yes.

with a joystick that has to be considered pretty bad actually. How many minutes did it take him to even take down hobbes shields?!

I remember this mission I killed Hobbes very quickly, Flew right at him and fired everything at once LOL
