and for the people who say pine causes lung issues. most lung issues arise when there is a build up of ammonia and can be prevented if the cage is kept properly clean!
oh yeah my breeder ate 3 of her pinkies. lol So I think I am gonna pull her from rotation and she will be a decent meal for a female ball I got after she sheds 1400g. I am hoping to get her to 1600g before she starts producing.
ahh you say pine works and your right. However the problem is it can lead to respiratory infections similar to why you don't use pine in a ball python tank. But since you use em as feeders I am sure it wont cause any problem cause when they say it dont work it means it dont work for long term if you are keeping the rats for their whole life. Looks like you take good care of them though,
Yeah I sometimes use pine. sorry if I came off like a know it all.
I watch a large portion of your videos when they come up and I have to say that not many people take as good of care of their animals as you. I am impressed. you also take good care of the rats and they have decent lives while they are with you.
When I decide to buy some more BP's I will more than likely buy from you. I learned how to pop snakes from you. Your vids are very informative. Keep up the good work.
Yeah I know was just kind of posting as a person who breeds them as well. Some I breed for pets (like coloration, temperament, etc.) Others I also breed for snake food as well. But I know this guy puts a lot of work into all his animals he owns and it shows very well. And I was including the rats in that statement. The guy is a top notch breeder.
i wish i had a huge area to breed rats to feed my snakes lol. atleast he treats his rats really well they dont live in complete shit like some feeder breeders make their animals live in.
me, actually, b/c i breed my own for my snakes and there is a certain point at which a rat simply will not breed with too much heat. or they may not thrive without ample amount of space, etc.
