I acutally saw the movie they're talking about before I heard this song. We watched Un Chien Andelou in Film 101 class, and then about a week later, my buddy showed me this song. I had heard alot about The Pixies, but had never listened to them. Now, they're one of my favorite bands. This is probably my favorite song by them, besides Here Comes Your Man

i saw the pixies do this on channel 4 and it got me back into them after 15 years. i used to listen to them on john peels show. went and bought every cd and dvd i could get . godlike.
