@3AKOH92 Choy Li Fut mixed with with Chin Na is good too, and would make a good combination with Wing Tsun. I would also combine Judo with Kyokushin for grappling.
@bishketflux Muay Thai sucks, thats why majority of UFC fighters use it along with other practices, and is considered one of the deadliest martial arts utilizing the power of the shins. I am not going to compare it to Kyokushin Karate, because comparing Karate to Kickboxing is silly in the first place, but to say that Muay Thai sucks makes you look like a moron to the rest of the world.

@nicktesla45 BTW, Kyokushin Karate has had more succes than any other single art form, beating out Muay Thai 15 out of 18 Proffessional match-ups, and have beaten EVERY other art. Although it's not the style, but the men. Kyokushinkai are Samurai.

In my 24 years of martial arts, I have never seen a true muay Thai school where the fighters...the real guys training for fighting, where the fighters weren't as tough as a piece of shoe leather. the kyokushin style of combat is very strong ... it's not less effective than the Thai, if you want to train to bring the punches to the face you can easily do, I practice boxing and kyokushin, I assure you that the wrestlers are thai bread for their teeth. kyokushin rules
The problem I had swiching arts was that my teacher would tell me im doing something "wrong" when actually it was just different. There is more than one way to throw a roundhouse would you agree??? Which is correct??? MuayThai, Karate, Kung fu, Taekwondo??? Who can say what roundhouse kick is correct??? Just, when it comes to a fight, if the time is right for MuayThai, use it, if the time is right for Karate, use it! Have a open mind about the new art, but never forget the old stuff! OSU!!!
Shotokan and Kyokushin are both very strong. I think that both are technical fighting styles, but Shotokan is more technical and Kyokushin is more whos stronger. I like Shotokan better cause it seems like in Kyokushin you train how to take a shot pretty well, but in Shotokan you train how to get hit at all lol Karate is great! My favorit type of fighting style, no matter the sub styles of it, I like them!!!

@nicktesla45 BTW, Kyokushin Karate has had more succes than any other single art form, beating out Muay Thai 15 out of 18 Proffessional match-ups, and have beaten EVERY other art. Although it's not the style, but the men. Kyokushinkai are Samurai.

I love this video...it's cheesy, it's campy, and it's great! As to the Muay Thai vs Kyokushin...c'mon, guys. In my 24 years of martial arts, I have never seen a true muay Thai school where the fighters...the real guys training for fighting, where the fighters weren't as tough as a piece of shoe leather. Likewise, I have never seen a real Kyokushin school where they weren't tough as all-get-out either. Just wish they'd punch to the head.

the kyokushin style of combat is very strong ... it's not less effective than the Thai, if you want to train to bring the punches to the face you can easily do, I practice boxing and kyokushin, I assure you that the wrestlers are thai bread for their teeth. kyokushin rules

The problem I had swiching arts was that my teacher would tell me im doing something "wrong" when actually it was just different. There is more than one way to throw a roundhouse would you agree??? Which is correct??? MuayThai, Karate, Kung fu, Taekwondo??? Who can say what roundhouse kick is correct??? Just, when it comes to a fight, if the time is right for MuayThai, use it, if the time is right for Karate, use it! Have a open mind about the new art, but never forget the old stuff! OSU!!!

Shotokan and Kyokushin are both very strong. I think that both are technical fighting styles, but Shotokan is more technical and Kyokushin is more whos stronger. I like Shotokan better cause it seems like in Kyokushin you train how to take a shot pretty well, but in Shotokan you train how to get hit at all lol Karate is great! My favorit type of fighting style, no matter the sub styles of it, I like them!!!

Im guessing you have never seen shotokan and really dont know what your talking about seeing as 99% of his stand up is streight from Shotokan and he proclaims that as his over all fighting style... If you actually knew anything about Karate or any martial art in asia you would know the lowkick is not restricted to MuayThai and happens to be a part of every asian martial art, just competition rules no low kicks, traditional Karate originally NEVER kicked above the waist...

Its just iv been there, learning another language is not always fun esspecially when you gotta be thrown into that country and forced to learn it. Just be more understanding about it, its hard.
