Bill really can give himself credit this thing because of the group he has now. These guys have it together. Better than David and Russ. I liked David but this guy has something about him that all can feel when he sings. He has chosen to be there for a reason. God has His reasons for everthing.

david has a good voice, but that doesnt mean that there isnt anyone else with a good voice. believe me, if wes didnt sing beautifully, he wouldnt be here. they both have extraordinary voices, just different.

Both David and Guy could sing with their whole heart.. This is great and I love it but I think David Phelps was terrific and I will also miss Guy terribly. I think that everyone that has been a part of this effort over the years has brought something God honored to it.

I think this is an excellent example of how Jesus unites. I'm sure that when Thomas Dorsey, then called a negro and known as the "Father of Gospel Music" among african -americans wrote this song so many years ago, I'm sure he never dreamed that one day it would even be sung by white brothers and sisters. WOW!!! Lokk how far we've come.

I did not know the former GVB but I have seen a few videos with David Phelps. He certainly is good, but all groups have their own appeal. This one is SO GOOD. Anyway, comparing tenors is not easy nor fair. Would you dare David Phelps to sing 'Nessun dorma' like Pavarotti?

I love wes hampton. he is just so sweet. and adorable may i add. i got to meet him in portland,ME and him,guy and marshal. they took a picture with me and my two younger siblings. that night at the concert they came and talked to us and waved from the stage.(we were in the front row) i just love them.

They were in Indiana for this video. I love the gaither sound. Ernie Hass was with them during this concert. Listen to the difference in sound quality between the 2 groups. This happens a lot in concerts. The host group has great sound and the other groups don't get the same sound quality. Kind of curious huh?

I think with Wes as the tenor, the Gaither Vocal Band has a level of blend and harmony that none of us have heard in a while. David was incredible, no doubt, but I think Wes does a fantastic job with the group. He really helps them keep that impeccable southern gospel harmony that the Gaither Vocal Band is so well known for.

Wes is wonderful, yes. But David Phelps...I'm just spoiled on that tenor's voice. And I still miss Mark in the group. Having said all that, these two new vocalists are "Gaither" quality all the way.
