  • my love!

  • This live performance is simply amazing. It is incredibly powerful and there's an urge and an intensity that sometimes are lacking on their studio work. But this is incredible.

  • I can hear she says isabella on the music dreams made flesh not sure if it means someone or its just a sound of her language.

  • Absolutely wonderful!! Thank's for sharing that with us..

  • Isabella?? who is? may be Isabella Morra. may be....

  • Ocean of sorrow is flooding me each time I listen to this infintly beautiful track...

GRACIAS POR EXISTIR - DEAD CAN DANCE

  • I had this on VHS as well.thank god for DVD-R!!! Converted all my DCD videos to DVD! Still cherish the VHS on display in my house......DCD LOVER FOREVER!!!!!!!!!

En el minuto 3:10, parece decir: "tu puedes nadar... nadarás, adiós" (you can swim...you will swim, goodbye) eso dice???

    any other spanish-speaker???

  • GRANDIOSE, thank you for this

  • I love her voice

  • Isabela Nardoni

  • musiquinha com um ar pesado, muito negativa. Lembrei da Isabela Nardoni.

  • @vladkush ahuehauehuae, melhor comentário do youtube ever.

  • This kind of "pirate" rarities are very exciting, but I must agree with Spellbound: the studio version is absolutely mesmerizing. Lisa is Love. Peace.

  • One of her finest performances. I really am in love with her voice!

  • isabella is dead

  • A TIMELESS CLASSIC wish more was played on the dance floor My favourite band of all times

  • The album version of this song trumps this live track hands down. It's just way better on the album than live. It's faster and more devestating and Lisa's voice is epic!

  • Is there any way to get this concert's audio anywhere? CD, video's audio rip download or ANYTHING? Desperately need this.

  • What happened to them the day they wrote this song ? It's so fascinating... Pure perfection, like 'Otterley' by Cocteau Twins, 'Drowning man' or 'Faith' by The Cure. I wish I didn't know this song and could discover it again...

  • I think this is the best song I have ever heard.

  • @johnstaf

    I agree.

  • @johnstaf

Same here, 3:16 is incredibly powerful.

  • what a set of pipes. woooo.

  • Who's Isabella?

  • me reconforta saber que la musica de DCD aun sigue y seguira presente por siempre¡¡ isabella where ar e you? are you dead?

  • Dead Can Dance really is THE BAND. No other band can produce such a beautiful music. Lisa's voice is just magical. I have all their albums and just cannot tired of it. Shame they are not together any more

  • listen only once to Irfan ;-)

  • Es grandioso ver q la música perfecta no muere ..

Es indescriptible la sencacion q se siente al bañarte con la voz de Lisa y con los sonidos q la compañan , fué la inspiracion q muchas veces necesite para parir mis mas oscuros versos...

    isabellaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa is dead ¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡.

    shes dead ...¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡

  • Che brividiiiii

  • eeeeeeeeeeeeeeee What Song!! Isabella Is Dead

  • uuuuuuuuuuaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

    Thanx

  • Haunting. Thanks for sharing!

  • no perdon ya corrobore si es ocean¡

    saludos¡

  • no es isabella

  • surdo

  • she's saying Isabella, and some thing like she says or is there

    isabella is there

    or

    isabella sh says...

but its just the way I lisrtened...

somo one know what she sings?

  • Isabella is dead... She's dead! She's dead!

  • marvelous!

  • Most of what Lisa sings isn't actually any language. She sings with emotive form of language, but its fairly abstract.

  • Thank you so much for posting this rather obscure DCD song, I love it and never thought I'd see video! This brings chills as always!

  • seems like she is vocalese-ing a loosely knit chain of sentences on some sort of idea or theme Cant be done right, live tho: these are men of turay (today)? these are men of turay these are men of....... he said, he said said that again dont go encircle---- he say he say.... lyrics? I dont think she went about it quite that way This still by way far my favorite album-fresh raw, not too 'produced'
  • plz if somebody send me a link where i can find Lisa Gerrard- on an ocean... i look everywhere and i didn`t find it.... i`m desperate.... plz help me

  • Comment removed

  • lisa gerrard sanvean

  • That voice can reach soul

  • im argentinian, i speak spanish and i tell you guys that she's sayings various words in spanish like "por qué?" (why?) , "murió" (she's dead), "lloré" (i cryed), "nadando" (swimming). i adore this song, makes me feel things that nothing else can .

  • Yo hablo español también, and I can hear all that you wrote AND starting at 2:45 I can hear her saying, "Isabella is dead, she's dead, she's dead." Ciao desde la Republica Dominicana!

  • thanks man

  • I have always tried to find "words in her words" since she supposedly doesn't sing in a language. I will listen more for the Spanish words you pointed out!

  • @queloscumplasfeliz coincido con que esta cancion terrible genera un monton de cosas unicas... nunca me había percatado de las palabras. .. increible.... no hay derecho a que hagan musica tan zarpada. estan fuera de ley.

    saludos.

  • beautiful ;_;

  • captivating.. sound like Cocteau Twins

  • how can a voice be that powerful!!

  • maybe this is the sound of an angel descending? She is my favorite female vocalist besides von bingen

  • Utterly haunting and purely ethereal. Lisa's voice is just incomparable...

  • magical. One of my favourite DCD songs - only faster!

  • Such a strange song ! Melancholic, but with pure beauty.

  • This looks like the dreams I have at night.

  • just perfect, i maintain.

  • nuff said, a perfect combination of what life is: sad beauty

  • excuse me 4 my ignorance...but, who is isabella??

  • isabela refers to the castillian queen, the mother of juana loca. the song is sung in english and basque.

  • thx a bunch!! do u have the lyrics 4 the song??

  • So what are the lyrics of the Song?

  • I'm pretty sure she made up her own lyrics for this in her OWN language except "isabela" theres no lyrics for this song.

  • That's the whole point, she prefers to communicate without "words"

  • Everytime I hear this song it cames to my head the Nibiru planet, and the Nephilims.

  • Thanks so much for uploading these!!!

  • Yes, the only English part is the word "Isabella"; the rest is glosolalia (or whatever it's called...)

  • She says: Isabella

  • Do the lyrics for this song exist anywhere?

I'd say not, but I was just wondering if anyone knew them. It's such an amazing song. Lisa's vocals are incredible here.

If anyone knows them I'd love to see them.

  • crazy, i have had lunch for three years when i study at the room they played the gig. I have the complete gig with support band on vhs, nice.

  • Were you a student at the Hochschule für Technik? I wonder how's the quality of your copy

  • mind sharing it. its nearing christmas. that would make a great present under the tree!!!

  • isabella is the castillian queen, the mother of juana la loca.

  • that must be a great show. I want a copy haha

  • @greenisthesea that must be a great video. I wish I could see that.

  • Amazing video, this is a real treasure. thank you for uploading it

  • Good version,

but i prefer the original one (it sounds more desperate and scary)

  • Emaaaaaaaazing sound!

    Graphic %100 GOOD! CONGRATULATIONS

  • the best song

  • Video de oro. Este material es una joya, nunca pense ver uno de los antiguos performances de Dead Can Dance Mil Gracias!!!

  • Really amazing! Keep posting, man, you are the chosen one!

  • amazing..

  • was lisa chanting the name isabella? who is isabella? isabella the castillian queen, the mother of juane la loca?

  • If that's a name indeed, I believe it must be someone who branded her heart with an indelible pain. But for all I know Lisa mostly vocalizes spontaneously, kind of a chanted glossolalia.

  • listen to the chorus, she is clearly saying isabella is dead. she's dead, she's dead...

  • one of the greatest dcd songs ever!

  • sanviance

  • Lovely!!!! Thank you :)!!
