The art and music behind this was astonishing....this WAS the best battle and saddest fight. I just love the intention and drama behind this epic scene.

I`ve never watched this show before in my life, but this scene has a lot of emotional impact to back it up. Its more tragic and sad than anything else. Azula is apparently a villain, but I cant help but feel pity for her either way.
@Mishyana Agreed, Azula's breakdown was amazing, realistic, and a fantastic milestone for Nikelodeon themselves. Best move they ever made was to air this show. Fantastic scene, and Azula really was amazing in this one as well.
This show could make an awesome roleplay game. If constructed well with acrobatics, free-running. Avatar: The Last Air bender + Assassin's Creed would be an amazing game. If constructed properly!
Let me get this clear. Even if Azula had been calm and not crazy as fuck, Zuko was gonna win anyway. Look, he had gone to see the original firebenders and they enhanced his firebending. He, unlike Azula, knew how to redirect lightning, which means if Azula used lightning she's dead. Which was what would have happened except that Katara showed up and almost got Zuko killed. Well honestly I'm more of an Azula fan cuz she's just so badass, poweful and hot, but I admit Zuko owned in this scene.
I don't get why he hadn't learned lightning, based on the season 2 episode of "inner turmoil" he should have finally been able to bend lightning, if anything Azula shouldn't have been able to this fight right?
Azula and Zuko's fire bending were both beast, but Azula was having mental issues, so Zuko would have probably won if he re-directed the lighting. IF she DIDN'T have mental issues, she would still aim for Katara, since she's that evil. BUT, Katara still would pwn her.
And as for Zuko saving Katara, he did that because he's an awesome friend. Katara loves Aang, Zuko loves Mai. Those are the couples. END OF DISCUSSION. Its just a cartoon guys, okay?

My problem is when she stood like 5 meters behind Zuko as SOON as Azula began to whip up her lightning, like "Oh Pick Me! Pick Me!" Like seriously?? Zuko could've easily owned her with her own lightning and called it a day...

But if you watch closely, you'll notice that she looked out the corner of her eye, saw Katara, changed her mind, and tried to shoot her instead. So had Katara kept her distance, she wouldn't have be- I mean ZUKO wouldn't have been hit...

To get her to shoot at Katara, so he could purposely jump in the way? That's suicide and stupid, dude.

2:46 wtf was Katara thinking? It's like she wanted to get electrocuted. It's exactly for this reason, why I hate females in shows like this, all they do is get in the damn way and fuck things up even more. This is prevalent in alot of anime, such as various series of Gundam, Naruto, among others.

@TheMomochiMan This is an Agni Kai. If you involve someone else, your forfeit the match. Why would Katara expect Azula to shoot at her if she wanted to win against Zuko? And what the hell are you talking about, "getting in the damn way?" Katara is a hell of a lot stronger than Sakura or any of those girls. Where do you think Zuko would've ended up after this battle if it wasn't for Katara?

@tenoreyequetis Ok first of all, what I mean by getting in the damn way, I mean literally standing somewhere where you can get hurt, and causing someone to have to stop what they're doing and put everything in to protect you rather than focusing on winning the fight....and Katara being stronger than SAKURA!? LMAO I won't even go there...as for where Zuko would've ended up? Um....As Firelord?

@TheMomochiMan It's interesting, though, that Katara didn't get hurt the whole time Azula was swooping around and trying to engulf Zuko...no, she didn't get hurt until Azula purposely TRIED to hurt her. Does that sound like 'standing in the wrong place' to you? And also, I don't mean Katara's strong as in physically or her powers. I meant mentally. Remember The Southern Raiders? What do you call that, if not strength?

@tenoreyequetis Katara didn't get hurt the first half of the fight because she was no where near the arena during the showdown, because she wasn't stupid enough to stand anywhere near two firebenders in the presence of Sozin's Comet. My problem is when she stood like 5 meters behind Zuko as SOON as Azula began to whip up her lightning, like "Oh Pick Me! Pick Me!" Like seriously?? Zuko could've easily owned her with her own lightning and called it a day...

@TheMomochiMan Have you ever thought that if Azula wanted to shoot lightening at her, it wouldn't matter where Katara was standing? Even if she was hiding behind a pillar or something, Azula could've just walked around to get at her. When Azula wants to shoor someone, she finds a way to do it.

@tenoreyequetis But she wasn't looking for Katara to begin with. Her first intended target was Zuko before she even began to whip up her lightning. But if you watch closely, you'll notice that she looked out the corner of her eye, saw Katara, changed her mind, and tried to shoot her instead. So had Katara kept her distance, she wouldn't have be- I mean ZUKO wouldn't have been hit...

@TheMomochiMan And If Zuko hadn't been hit, Katara wouldn't have defeated Azula - unless you think Zuko would have redirected the lightening at Azula? He's a lot of things, but he's not a killer. If he was, he could've ended the battle there, but otherwise who knows what would have happened?

@tenoreyequetis But, Katara wouldn't have been involved in the heat of things, if she had stayed where she was at during the Agni Kai. Had she done so, Zuko could've redirected it at Azula, which he was prepared to do( 2:46 ). Why else would Zuko push Azula to use her lightning if he wasn't planning on redirecting it at her? To get her to shoot at Katara, so he could purposely jump in the way? That's suicide and stupid, dude.

Iroh had always said that Zuko didn't think things through, and honestly I doubt he would kill his sister - when she attacked the Western Air Temple and fell off her balloon, he actually looked sad to say that she wouldn't make it. Anyway, you're missing the point here. Bottom line is, Katara isn't useless, she isn't stupid, and she isn't weak. She's nothing like Sakura Haruno or Misa Amane or whatever. (Also, for your information, I'm a girl.)

@tenoreyequetis I never said she was useless, I never said that any girl in any anime/show was useless, I just find it rather frustrating when girls are put in the presence of danger because they are too stubborn to leave and get somewhere safe, and, in SOME cases, are easily taken over by the enemy, causing the individual to put everything into saving them, because of their foolish, and sometimes futile, attempts at being brave.
