When you use palp for staff do you need to max staff mastery as well to make that skill more effective?

@Alexmld I wouldn't because when you are using staff for your secondary weapon, when you use palpus, you would do it for its effects not the damage. Raising staff mastery does not increase the % chance of the effects going off.

lol my 112 summy is killer...and i dont like to use devil swing anymore except on girl chars...cus there def is weaker...but if any1 knows...how many hits r these new skills(especially the pink distance star)

typically its better to go either full staff or full twinblade up until lvl 115. Devils wing is a must, its actually blade dance that becomes useless. Especially in pvp, its skill animation is too slow for a summoner

yes but these guys dont even use devil swing and i am an 98 summoner and i find that blade dance do more dmg in pvp

thats summoner vs summoner...who in their right mind would use devils wing when the objective in summoner vs summoner is to kite the other player and wait for a slip up to connect a dark avatar, when new skills r released blade dance is a useless skill after 115+ if it aint already..

Staff will get one new skill, it drops poles down and they explode causing damage, from the look of it its not a very good skill though compared to the TB moves.

staff becomes an aoe beast though. Venom light becomes a splash aoe and that new staff skill is a strong hit.. at lvl 60 that skill does around 5k critical with a +0 staff and heal build stats. at high lvls 130+ with a nice staff it would do high critical damage

noone really knows when they will come out and yep, the big bluish one is 74 and the one that throws several small blades then a big one is supposed to be 12.

it gives a def buff from long distance attacks,meaning you`ll do better at pvp against hunters and mages

you are partly right, its actually against long distance physical attacks, meaning hunters and even summoner attacks like dark avatar.
