Thanks for posting this film, I really want to see it on DVD or something. I read Luke Jackson's book and enjoyed it so much. It was pure yet intelligent and insightful and honest. I was very interested when I heard that a film based on the life of his family had been made - and that it starred Helena Bonham Carter! Thanks once again. there's a great deal of apathy about developmental disorders such as those on the spectrum; I'm grateful for any good materials that raise awareness

This movie means a lot to me. It made me realise that I have a form of autism and I watched it during my obsession with Tim Burton (and my obsessions are a part of the autism, I think) so this was like the perfect movie for me at that time :)

What is great about her is that she hasn't fallen into the depth of television actors. Usually when an actor who used to do films does a tv movie their career is pretty much gone but she and a few others are exceptions to the rule and I love that
