they make the new gen rx7 every year from 1992-2008 so far but they only shipped the models from 93-95 and 2002 type R ..

I gotta be honest with you, a BMW that's $30,000.00 with ONLY 300 BHP and 0-60 in 5.1 seconds, that's the shit of BMWs. 0-60 in 4 seconds is considered supercar acceleration, and for 30 grand with only 300 BHP? Rip off. A 2008 Cadillac CTS will give you a better deal than that, for Christ's sake.

More BHP doesn't mean more speed. And I say "only" because there are cheaper cars with more, or close to 300 BHP. For example, Dodge Challenger: $25,000.00 with 420 BHP. Dodge Caliber SRT4: like $18,000.000 with 285 BHP (impressive for a 4-cylinder.) Those are ONLY 2 examples of ONE branch of an AMERICAN manufacturer.

I compared it to a supercar because I always see these Europeans saying American cars are shit in anything but a straight line, and brands such as BMW, Mercedes, Aston-Martin, pretty much anything Eurpoean, can beat an American car in anything. A car that is fast, fast acceleration, and good braking are supercars. The Cadillac CTS-V is a luxury car with a supercar heart, a 505 BHP, Corvette Northstar V8. To be honest, it was kind of personally disappointing. I expected BMW to do better.

Doesn't the Cadillac CTS-V have the same engine as the Corvette Z06, the LS7. The max displacement of the Northstar V8's is 4.6L. The CTS-V's Sigma RWD platform was originally designed in Australia and integrated world wide for economies of scale. I haven't driven many American cars but the ones I have driven have unfortunately lived up to the stereotype. I've driven several Euro cars and they were substantially more enjoyable. You should drive a BMW before you decide your disappointed.

Also your logic about the meaning of super car is flawed. Have you taken into account Handling, Uniqueness, Design, Power to weight ratio. With your logic a a Volvo S80 with the V8 engine option is a supercar.

I'm not feminine enough to drive a SUV. To me the design of the nose of the Porsche SUV would be fiting for a pickup. I am curious why you think everyone has to think/feel the same way you do? Rover was fine until SUV's became vogue and it bacame a street machine catering to the fat bottom girls. Since I'm tall and auto manufacturers have lowered the avaerage height of new buyers by 2" due to more females buying new, pickups are all that I fit into best.
