  • There used to be a recording of the last Ireland and Ireland reprise, but I can't find it anymore. Does anybody know where it is on youtube (or have the audio)? Because Orfeh is so awesome!

  • LOL enid & kate

  • *sigh* why is it always the good shows that never last long?

  • awww I love the dog coming on :)

  • that was a really fast change after bows...

  • I LOVE KATE SHINDLE!!!!

  • i wanna be the next elle. i cry everytime i watch bailey hanks walk out on stage at the end! BEST MUSICAL EVER!

  • Just rediscovered this after a year. Still love it. Orfehs leap and Kates insane end note. Love.

  • I LOVE HOW ORFEH DANCES AT THE END!

  • I know I have seen the last Ireland and Ireland reprise on here before, but I can't find it anymore!!!!

  • Who was elle here?

  • I want her dress!!! its pink and has like SPARKLES!!!!!!

  • it's sad lbb had to leave because it was harming her voice it is also sad that the producer directors etc werent REALLY looking for another elle because if they were i think bailey would have never been cast she was second rate and flat durning so much better everytime and they even freakin chaged the key for her. the girl needed more experience plain and simple they wasted a good show on an enxperinced twit

  • i love seeing chris dance

  • who played elle?

  • @rentobbesion baliey the bimbo

  • @oNegLeEk lol

  • Loving the high B Kate hits, it's quite lovely :).

  • damn kate shinde hit another extra high note...amazing

  • hahahahahah sucks for the people there in my town she came out with a penguins jeresey on malkin to be exact

  • @steelercity711 XD Becky Gulsvig in Pittsburgh at the Benedum Center, lol. Becky Rocked but Laura Bell is still the best.

  • Aww... I loved this show! It was my first Broadway love. It should've won the Tony...if/when the revival comes, all the amazing fans better eat up the show and maybe they'll regret ever taking it off Broadway!

  • R.I.P. Legally Blonde on Broadway :( This was my 1st broadway show and it was AMAZING!!!

  • T_T Its...just so BEAUTIFUL!

  • You were watching the show the same day MTV recorded it!!

  • nope

  • i love watching orfeh rock out

  • i was there i didn't even see this cause of the rush that everyone was in to get to the stage door

  • i absolutely love how all the swings got to come and do the curtain call!

  • what are the words to what they sing at the end?

  • You've had your fun, our work here is done, we're setting you free, so go home and be, yeah go home and be, yeah go home and be, yeah go home and be legally blonde... :)

  • 0:49 *meeps*

  • I LOVE ORFEH!

Am I the only one who notices her like Leap off stage? Haha 0:45

  • no you are not! i was just going to say...she is the one i notice immediately. her energy is incredible.

i love the curtain on this show too. fantastic.

  • @PeaceLoveBroadway i noticed her too! :)

  • Booo, Bailey! You're the reason this show closed!

  • aww i love herr:( lol.

  • why was she the reason?

  • now now

i am wondering if they knew the show may close anyway and they did that unreality show to cast it?

she isn't horrible. there were three of these type shows in UK and two of the winners are amazing stars.

i am not a Bailey fan, but she couldn't have been awful or they wouldn't let her on the stage. or at the very least would give her matinee shows or tweak the contract.

  • what are the lyrics they sing at the end? the first line? we hope you had fun?

  • i think its ,you had ur fun ,our work here is done so go home and be leaglly blonde

  • You had your fun, our work here is done, we're setting you free, so go home and be... legally blonde!

  • I thought that they would have said or done something special after the show since it was closing night! But, they just did the typical curtain call, I wonder why.

  • OK can anyone tell if Viv is taking the blond up another step like i can cuz i swear she takes it up atleast two more steps????

  • yeah, she takes it up another two notes at the end beyond where she normally does it. you might as well go out with a bang, right? haha

  • OMG Orfeh!! I love her so much!!!

  • Trade?!?!?

  • my agent knows her she doesn't smoke at all people

  • LOL did you see orfeh un backstage after she took her bow. she like leaped loll

  • watch Orfeh!

Man, I love her so much!!

and Kate Shindle's last note... how is that even possible, it was amazing!

this cast was incredible, so sad to see it close.

  • i love that curtain call and the curtain itself, the see through pink and then the tiffany's necklace on darker on top..that is fabulous.

  • i heard that laura bell stopped because the songs were so hard to sing and they were ruining her voice. they didn't want to ruin bailey's voice so they let her do the show for only a little while.

idk if thats true but its what i heard lol it really sucks that this closed :/

  • Dont say bulshit.

There are a lot of harder musicals running on Broadway and they keep open for many years.

  • yeaa i know. i said i didnt know if it was true. i only heard that cuz my brothers friend goes to BOCO and is obsessed with everything broadway and thats what she heard lol

  • at least on youtube, all of the vids show the theatre full... i guess it wasn't always?

  • If that were truw, phantom would have been closed and that has been on b-way for 20 years (and 21 in a week and a half! yay!) same with wicked

  • the part of Elle is REALLY hard vocally :P she has to sing the whole show through, and almost never have a chance to rest! In phantom there's a lot ensemble numbers, where the leads don't have to be in constant focus all the time. And they don't have to speak, and dance, and scream all the time either. I really do see why the part of Elle could ruin your voice. Laura Bell did it for over a year remeber ! most leads leave (mabey return after a break) after 6 months.

  • oh, i know LB is a hard musical to sing, especaiily elle's part, but i'm just saying that if thats way the show closed, a lot of other shows would have been closed also, so i think its the ecomony, vereses the song difficulty. I'm sad this show closed i never a chance to see it live

  • she does not smoke!

  • ... i really don't care what you think but it's not like i would lie about that kind of thing.

  • @xkayteeex33 no, if they were worried about baileys voice they would have recasted Elle again. Yea it was ruining LBB's voice, but even still she brings down the curtain and rocked the house, every time. I miss her and the show so much!

  • a lot of different things went into lb closing--you can't just blame it on bailey or the economy. it was a combination of lowering ticket sales, a tough economy, high running costs--a large cast, a very expensive theater to rent.

  • wait why did LB REALLY close? and i mean the REAL reason cuz i've been hearing things...

  • WOOOO.

What's with the ending curtain though?

    Does that actually happen?

  • Orfeh! Go get down with your bad self!

  • congrats! they are all now offically out of work actors

  • Yeah but most of them don't deserve to be out of work! it's all because once bailey got in there house capacity dropped so drastically

  • fucking bailey.

  • Bailey did nothing, its the economy that is closing alot of Broadway shows.

  • i agree completely, she killed it

  • Bailey did not kill it, Dont you know why Laura Bell left? It wasnt just because she wanted a new country album it was also because she saw ticket sales were going down so she left. They did the MTV thing to boost ticket sales and it worked but people just cant afford to see a broadway show at this time....Bailey did not kill it the economy did...For proof that bailey is loved search cbhanks Bailey has tons of fans and is selecting her next step now!!!

    GO BAILEY....LUV YOU!!!

  • although I am not a Bailey fan, I do agree with you. if people think about, to take a family to the theatre it could cost upwards of $300 and over. (that's just tickets) sometimes in London you can get cheaper tickets, but still, very expensive. I thought Bailey had something to do with it at first, or the fact that the MTV show although entertaining was a wreck. Jerry Mitchell is fab though, and i think they had the new Elle picked from the beginning.

  • @waytoocute4that LBB left becuase it was messing up her voice.

  • bailey is actauly in high school musical as sharpay!

  • OMIGOD! Am i the only one who heard Vivenne (kate shindles) final note? What does this girl do to get that kind of a range??

  • you're not the only one, acting416acting. it was a B.. if u were wondering.... a high frikin B... played it on piano. go to legally blonde remix closing night and you'll hear a glimpse of the same B except stronger. her range is indeed truly impressive.

  • i can't get why this amazing play didn't win any tony award ...

  • @GuilleCarvajal Because Broadway critics has issues.

  • thank god i went to see it, with the original cast, it was a great show...

  • OMG!!!orfeh had so much energy. She was great...i'm sad its over, that was one of the best shows i've ever seen!

  • haha orfeh had so much energy! ove her! she is so nice! i was talking on the phone with her. LOL we talked about random things! haha. i will miss legally blonde sooo much!

  • WOW, paulette (i think it was) had a TON of energy!

  • who was elle?

  • Bailey

  • Bailey

  • who was elle?

  • omg i saw it the thursday before it closed it was so awesome i cant wait til it reopens!!!

  • its reopening!?!?!?!

  • Not unless you mean London....

  • On tour and in London, not on Broadway.

  • its reopening??!?!?! when?????????

  • i kinda feel bad for bruiserr.

getting swung all over the place. (:

  • Did the show, like, just open? I wasn't aware it closed so soon.

  • uhmm it's been open for like over a year

    lol(:

  • I was there that night and to be honest there was no louder than the other. It was complete ear piercing screaming the entire final bow. Perhaps that section was loader, but overall from the Orchestra where I was.... it didn't matter. Everyone after Orfeh was ear numbing! It was CRAZY LOUD for ALL of them!

  • it seemed like the applause for christian was louder than it was for bailey.

  • i thoiught that first, but i think they the same

  • dang orfeh is like with hyperness during the dance...haha she is awesome!

  • no speach from Jerry or anything??? oh well. Orfeh danced her ass off. haha

  • omg I could cry. The curtain call is my favorite part of all the plays i've been in. It's triumphant and sad at the same time.

  • So sad .. Whens the London production opening? I presume there going to have American accents :L

  • next september

  • ahhh!! i wish i couldve been there!! i miss it too tooo much!

  • i wish i could have been there! its great to see this, though its upsetting to see them take their last bow. i will miss this show so much!!!

  • DID SOMEONE NOTICE... FREAKING HOT CHRISTIAN BORLE SEND KISSES TO EVERYONE AND THEY STARTED HUGGING WHILE bailey IS SEND KISSES EAN EVERYTHING

I LOVE CHRISTIAN BORLE I WISH HE COULD'VE SAID MORE... I LOVE HIM SO CUTE!

  • so sad =(

cant wait till it comes to london though!!

  • the cast looks big here.did they put all the swings on?

  • I always get chills when Elle runs on stage, no matter who it is ! Im so sad this closed :(

  • I know I wish they had speeches the only speech i heard of was when Nikki Snelson left but in the curtain call instead of "we had our fun our work her is done" they should have said "and now we our done with our broadway run"

  • That's horrible! :P

  • I don't understand what they have against speeches during the curtain calls nowadays. I know Laura didn't give a speech at her last show. But thanks for putting this up. I wanted to be there so much but well I had prior commitments. But I was there Friday night so I was happy.

  • no speeches or anything/
