  • Heheh, funny. If you try to pause at 0:17 you could imagine from that distance there was Tom Hanks on the piano! =D

  • I've always liked Taylor. And its particularly pleasing to find someone who, as he gets older, still just carries on belting out the same superb songs. He doesn't stick his head up his backside and start lecturing on the evils of drugs or whatever.

Top class voice, top class songs.

  • @txjignpig WHEN U CAN SING AS GREAT AS JAMES TAYLOR DRUGS REALLY DONT MAKE A SHIT

  • NEVER AGAIN WILL THERE BE A VOICE AS GREAT AS JAMES TALYORS NEVER

  • It must be a real gift to have that kind of talent. He must have had some pain growing up to work out through his music. He sings like a hundred people with many life experiences.

  • Still gives me goosebumps...Sweet Baby James.

  • Little Comfort

    Some where in the clouds

    are my dreams standing there

on the deep green mountain top of my cares

So I want to know how to fix the error of my ways

how do I love a little better in the end

how can I gather together a little more comfort for my friends

    M.S. Morrison

  • God I love this man. I'm so glad my mom brought me up on his greatest hits CD back when I was ten. Nine years later, his music still melts me. <3

  • This is one of the greatest artists of all times. His music seems to touch all aspects of our lives. It doesn't matter how many years pass, his music seems to get better with age.

  • Zo mooi.......

  • wonderful

  • James Taylor, vous êtes un patrimoine pour l'humanité entière.

  • Absolutely timeless. No current "pop-star" could hold a candle to this man.

  • Great hearing this song---NOW, as it was 4 decades ago...

I always admired the fact, too, that he NEVER EVER let a political agenda wind its way through his songs or concerts.

---Unlike most of the "loads' today that call themselves singers---but have to let you know how far left they are politically--NOBODY GIVES A S _ _ T !

  • i've never been more proud of anything than the fact that my mother named me after this man and would play me this song everyday as a child..

  • if I ever had children I wanted to name my son James I never had children so my sister named her son James

  • The instrument is a harmonium. Although developed in Europe, it became popular in India and is used in Indian classical and devotional music. It is a reed instrument (brass reeds) It is usually pumped with the left hand, but here they have rigged up a foot "pump"

  • Yep, a harmonium... that's what the Beatles used on "We Can Work It Out"... (fwiw). :)

  • What is that contraption Larry Goldings is playing back there?
