My biggest beef with our "for profit" health care system is that with a doctor's bill demanding $1,000, an insurance company pays $143, while the patient (if uninsured or paying privately) has to pay $1,000. If patients would pay what insurance companies pay, health care would be much more affordable than insurance premiums.
Cut out the middle man. Charge patients EQUALLY, and stop giving insurance companies the breaks that are denied patients. Insurance companies are self-serving parasites.

My biggest beef with our "for profit" health care system is that with a doctor's bill demanding $1,000, an insurance company pays $143, while the patient (if uninsured or paying privately) has to pay $1,000. If patients would pay what insurance companies pay, health care would be much more affordable than insurance premiums.
Cut out the middle man. Charge patients EQUALLY, and stop giving insurance companies the breaks that are denied patients. Insurance companies are self-serving parasites.

Let's sit her down with an easy one, say Chancellor Merkel (of Germany if you don't know), and let them discuss NATO's role in the Middle East. It would be an embarrassment. @johnlorican If you want to believe it or not, Iran's current govt. is a serious threat to the west and it's basically a matter of time before something comes to head. I've lived abroad for the past 5 years in 7 different countries, and I'm an american citizen. I know first hand, the threat is real. Palin is not the right answer if you're looking to replace the current President and have peace with the ME. She is way out of her league.

News outlets seem to be more like entertainment than anything these days. Nobody can govern effectively if they're being pelted with pointless lawsuits. A governor with the same worldview took over - and the lawsuits went away ( a win/win). Meanwhile, this allowed Sarah Palin to target 20 Democratic members of the House of Representatives to lose in the elections two weeks ago...18 of them went down...not bad!!!

@mammers11...No, Sarah Palin was CHARGED with 'committing ethics violations' - and one by one by one, they were all thrown out. She was guilty of none - and that's the point. How can you govern when, yes, 'stupid liberals' are fighting you in court over nonsense? Palin, to her credit, felt that in the best interest of her state of Alaska, she would resign and give the reigns to her VP, who would govern as she would - and the stupid petty 'violations' would go away...and, of course, they did.

Every other network has been blindly coddling him for the past four years (that including the two years he spent campaigning while he was a Senator). By contrast Palin has been pummeled unmercifully. Even Obama himself felt the attacks on her family were crossing the line. There's no comparison, not even close.
