Ruby (a jewelpet) goes to the human girl to find a rarerare girl (a human) and she founds Akari with the same feelings as Akari. So Akari and Ruby go to the Jewel Academy, in Jewel Land to learn Magic and earn the 12 JewelStones. Akari made new friends, Miria, Sara, Leon, Nicolas and more... when they have the jewelstones they go to Jewelstar grand-prix.
