@Rinnow2 Yes it is.I don`t know if its just me,but even now that I am older and know how it all works I still find it easy to forget that Matthew is the only actor on the show (Apart from the odd guest appearance).I get so engrossed in it still.

@401ashen It was actually a woman called Brenda Longman. She appeared regularly in the late 90's on "Sooty and Co." as "Mo from t'market", and made at least 1 appearance in "The Sooty Show" in the episode "Bored Games" as the woman who befriends Sooty and helps him beat Mathew in a game of Bowls they had /watch?v=z55AHWuPstE
