stunning babies are 4 weeks old today, on the 14th February 2010 and are already a wonderful testament to the Ragdoll breed and their truly amazing breeders, Alison & Roy of Keepin-Katz New Zealand, who have taken great care in maintaining their pure lines and ensuring optimum love, care, safety & health for all of their kittens and breeding kings & queens.
Oh my goodness!!! They're so cute!!!! I remember when my family got a ragdoll(his name is Max and he's really funny) when he was a kitten, and here's a funny story: I was getting in the shower, and Max literally followed me wherever I went while meowing. XD It was so cute and funny, I laughed to the point that my stomach hurt, even then, I couldn't stop laughing!! When I got into the shower, Max decided to peek in and look at me XD.
@HomoYoutubus Thank you, but you may need to read carefully before commenting - there are five kittens, yes. But they are four weeks old, which is why the title has "four" for the age instead of "five" for the number of kittens present. Funnily enough, this litter actually had six, but the sixth was roaming around outside the basket.
@Abby4223 Hiya, I'm just a pet lover too :) This video is of our third Ragdoll, Ari when we met him for the first time :) Be sure to check out videos of him and out other two Ragdoll cats, now that they're older :)
omfg who wouldn't luv cute little babies like these? i almost want one but i already have a grey tabby named brock and hes two. i heard adults might kill unfamiliar kittens...
@RecordedMovies Hiya, I know right? No idea why two people disliked them, but doesn't bother me, different people have different ideas about things. Yep, it's true, it's very hard introducing new cats into a home with an older cat. And even harder still introducing a defenseless kitten. When we introduced Ari to our other two Ragdolls, they were just four months older (still kittens) than him and it took them a couple of days to adjust to him. They're all almost two now & love eachother :)
@saintrobbie375 Hiya, oh I know, animals are great huh? What type of dog do you have? We have a German Shepherd rescue, though she's not allowed anywhere near the Ragdolls (even though the Raggies would LOVE to meet her and get very excited when they see her walk past the window). Raggies are unfortunately indoor only cats, as they are frequently stolen or are hurt by other animals, as they love to make friends with everyone/anything.
@casarela11 Hiya, thanks for your comment. At 5 weeks of age, the breeder shouldn't be letting you hold the kittens as their immune systems are still very fragile. They have their first vaccination at 6 weeks of age. I'd also be concerned that the kittens' brother and sister from the same litter have died. Are you sure this is a breeder you can trust? Ask questions about the deaths & check to ensure the breeder is registered. Vet bills for poorly bred cats can cost a fortune & alot of heartache.
@RaggyHeaven Of corse! She's very careful with them, it's turning 6 weeks in a day or 2, but I washed my haands before I touched her. And she is registered. No worries here, she spoils them too, finds the correct foods, the breeder is an angel to them, don't fret or worry (=
@BuyMeMelon765 Lol, they are at 4 weeks. All Ragdoll cats are born white and the patterns and colours slowly start to come out, after 10 days and then by the time they're 12 weeks their patterns are beautiful and darken with age until they're about a year old :)
@pikabko1 Hehe, is it strange that I see our Ragdoll cats everyday and still go "awwwwwww"! Hehe! Be sure to check out my other videos for more cute Ragdoll cats/kittens :)
@thedennisinator Thank you :) I'm still meserized by our Ragdoll cats each and every day. Be sure to check out my channel for more videos of our Ragdoll kitties :)
@merilinmanni Hehe, is it strange that I see our Ragdoll cats everyday and still go "awwwwwww"! Hehe! Be sure to check out my other videos for more cute Ragdoll cats/kittens :)
@PopRockGlam Hiya, I wouldn't say kittens are blind as that's a medical condition, but kittens do naturally take about 10 days to open their eyes after birth. A kitten that doesn't after say 14 days, will need to be checked by the vet and would then be recognised as being blind. It's a rare thing, but can happen, just like it can with us. Hope that helps :)
@LoveMe52 Thank you :) Yes, Raggies are expensive (our 3 boys cost us $960 each with full pedigree & papers, neutered, microchip etc) & they are very demanding, constantly seeking attention & purring madly when they get it. True to the breed theyre incredibly friendly & aren't the typical independent & aloof cat. Because of this though, like all Raggies they must be kept indoors as they're overly friendly with other people & animals & can easily be stolen / hurt = lots of litter tray cleaning!
@tiagolemos Hiya, no it's not rare. It depends on the queen and wether she's been carefully bred from (Breeders who over breed their queens (basically kitten mill), will frequently have one or two kittens per litter). Our breeders absolutely adore their queens and are very careful with them and often have litters of 6. We have three Raggies from them and two are from litters of six :)
@mytube2068 Oh I know! If I wasn't self employed, working from home, I wouldn't go to work at all. Fortunately, I get to be productive and play with my Raggies too. They're such demanding, attention seeking cats though, I don't think we'd manage it any other way.
@stonnedwarrior Hiya, thank you they really were gorgeous babies :) This video was taken on Valentine's Day last year. We were at the breeder's cattery meeting our little boy for the first time and because it was Valentine's Day we called him Archer - Ari for short (It means lion in Hebrew) - and he is now a year and five months old :) At 12 weeks, his brothers and sisters all went to very loving homes around New Zealand :)
@ClaudiPup Thank you :) Our little guy from this litter is now just over a year old (He's the naughty one on the right that attacks everyone towards the end of the video) :D
@Rimz73 Not sure where you got that from? The title says: "Super cute 4 week old Ragdoll kittens," this means that the kittens are four weeks old. There are 6 kittens in total in this video.
@deadramaster Sounds like you'd know all about that, so I will just take your word for it. I've met some jealous people in my time, but you deserve a gold medal.
@monsterofcookiedeath Hiya, this was at our breeders, when our third Ragdoll cat Ari was 4 weeks old & their patterns were starting to show (he's now 14 months). It was easy to pick out which was which in person, as they had different patterns - Ari is a Blue Lynx Mitted with white tail tip & blaze, his brother was a Blue Point, other brother a Blue Lynx Point, sister a Blue Point mitted, etc. So they were all different patterns and some were girls and some were boys. They were very cute :)
@MajorJelly Awww, what's your little girl's name and pattern/colour? They really are great cats, always doing something to make you laugh, playing & running, sleeping, or demanding attention :)
@8marsu89 Hehe! Would you believe, our little guy (he's the one who gets the close up at 1:05) is now 13 months old? It is crazy how fast time flies :)
@8marsu89 It definitely does. Take a look at my other videos - he's the Blue Lynx Mitted cutie, with a blaze. We called him Archer, as we picked him out on Valentine's Day. We just call him "Ari" though. He's the youngest of our three Raggie boys :)
@Samiosamio111 Hi there, thank you, but this was at the breeders home, when we were seeing our Ragdoll kitten for the first time. Each queen has her own large pen, inside the large custom-built cat cottage and is given a large bed, blankets, food, toys etc and is thoroughly treated like royalty at our breeders home. All of their breeding cats are well looked after and absolutely happy, it's great to see & one of the main reasons we went with this breeder.
@bieberfever10177 I know the feeling, I was the same before we adopted our three, whom I love to bits! But they are a special breed that are meant as indoor cats only, so they require a lot of effort cleaning litter trays etc (they are not recommended for outside, as they are too friendly and try to make friends with all sorts of people and animals and they have absolutely no road sense. They are also frequently stolen because they are expensive, very beautiful, loving and affectionate).
@amazingotube Awww, how beautiful! You will absolutely adore your Raggie :) Though, they are addictive and it's very hard to stop at just one - trust me, we now have three beautiful boys (Chiko is a Seal Lynx Point, Roman is a Seal Bi-Colour and Archer is a Blue Lynx Point with a blaze). My fiance's grandpa was a staunch dog lover and absolutely hated cats before he met our boys and now he's converted - He loves Ragdolls! Just shows how amazing their personalities are :)
@amazingotube Awwwww, that's so great to hear! Is Frankie a seal point? Love the name!! We had a Pyrenean Mountain Dog called Frankie, whom we rescued at the shelter. He was a wonderful boy :) Be sure to take lots of videos of your little guy, would be great to see him! :)
Ha, I just realised how terrible the new audio is on this video (It sounded so cute for the first 16 seconds...Pays to listen to the whole track!). The first song placed with this was B.J. Tomas "Raindrops" but due to copyright changes, that had to be removed. Sorry for that everyone, I am just in the process of getting you tube to swap the audio again.
@666Spn Thank you :) Our little Ari from this litter, is now 8 months old and his older brothers from another litter, are now 12 months old. I love them to bits and can't imagine life without them, they are so much fun with all their crazy antics :)
@shakethatbooooty Haha! Good luck, though remember they are typically indoor cats only, as they are often stolen or get themselves hurt as they have no road sense and often make friends with everything and anything - including dogs.
Thanks so much :) It was so very hard choosing between them all, especially as they all look like the cutest baby polar bears at this age. But we really fell in love with Archer "Ari", named as we picked him on Valentine's Day and because we were intially after a girl, to go along with our Raggie boys Chiko & Roman. But, I took one look at him and I was gone - shot by cupid's arrow, haha! I can't wait to see our boys playing with their new brother - just another 7 or so weeks to go now :D
Yes, I'm still talking to a reputable breeder- now is the part where I introduce the idea of a ragdoll to my family :D
Oh, by the way , do you think it would be better to buy cats in pairs? So they don't get lonely? :) And another thing, your cats are ADORABLE (did I ever mention that before? hahaha)
Lol, good luck with the family :) Haha, sorry, this is going to be another long answer! But, I think its better to buy two, as Raggies are very loving (Our Bi-Colour is currently snuggling me & if I don't stop to give him attention he gives a little squeak & starts climbing up my arm & pushes his nose onto mine to say a friendly cat hello). They really LOVE attention & get very sad if they don't have it - they really do demand it. Two will mean they'll have eachother to play with/cuddle
And yes, I think I should get two cats to keep eachother company. After frequent e-mails with my breeder, he's agreed to sell the kittens for 900 euros if I buy them together (they normally cost 700 each!). I'm really hoping everyone in my family agrees, :) I feel like I really can't live without a ragdoll(s)!!
when you are out for a few hours each day, which is a good distraction when you're not home. One on its own will cry for you & will get bored easily. Ragdolls are also an indoor only cat, as they have no road sense, are easily picked on by other cats and are commonly stolen because they are so beautiful. Because they are indoor, they become even more attached to having you around the house - my boys stick to me like glue! - but having eachother means I can nip out for a few hours whilst they
Thanks :) Ari is the little guy on the bottom right in the basket, who starts attacking his brother, hehe! Can't wait for the colour to come in, he's lighter than his siblings...So might be a Lilac/Blue Lynx. Either way, he is so cute & already has a mischevious personality, so he'll fit in well here!
How're you going in your search for a couple of Raggies? For some reason I can't post a comment on the video we've been talking on, but wanted to say, I know what you mean about the waiting!
