I do detailing and proffessioal headlight restoration in fort myers Fla.. .I sand ,buff then use a special clearcoat sealent that (better then plastx)protects lense from sun and grime...i only charge $35 and if anyone is not happy its free
i have a question bro. how do i know when my headlights are or aren't plastic i have a 2006 rav4 and it kind looks blurry inside i will like to maek them look like new. there arent bad but that thing kind of bothering me. i will appriciate ur answer.
You should take 1 step with 600 grit, second step with 1500 (including soapy water) and then polish with a mid cuttin compound (Rotary or Dual-Action) Use rotary for a faster result. After doing these 3 steps, use a plastic polish to seal up the plastic for a good protection and restore the plastic shine and then add a spray of Plastex for a long protection and an absolute shine.
has anyone tried this and seen their headlights yellow?
i am very interested.

We have our new kit that comes with a 600 grit paper to clean as step one then a 1000 followed by a 2500 paper for a real dirty headlight.
Let us know if you would like a free demo.

Thats a lot of work to remove oxidation.

Its really not much work. They are just providing every little detail. I can do 2 headlights in about 12-15 minutes most of the time.
