the only reason it looks moderm is because miele hasn't changed their vacuum designs in forever. except for the s4 and s5 series. but the cat and dog vacuum is still the same design from like 30 years ago.
I bought my Miele S7 "Bolero" on 1/19/09 & I absolutely Love it! - I would put this (My) Vacuum Cleaner up against any Consumer Vacuum on the market today & am confident my Miele would be the BEST hands down! - Go Germans!
