What The Fuck. I need to put this as three words instead of letters because it punctuates my point; The Summer Set, however, does not seem to grasp this sort of behavior. Why? The classic riffs are gone. "Punk goes classic Rock"? What is rock or metal without guitar riffs? The synth and dumb chord sequences are NOT rock, you dumb poseurs. The solo is replaced with a series of more cut-and-paste chords, and the KISS method of everyone (and I mean EVERYONE) singing is gone with that synth crap. BS

@afelias I have listened to kiss. I've listened to styx, zepplin, metalloica, tesla, beatles, Queen, and everything else. It's good music, and influential to music everywhere. But I don't care about the skill level of the music, nor do I care for the long over done guitar solos, and everything else involving a competition as to how technical the instrumentals are. I care about the music as a whole. I see music as an entity. Classic rock is good, but I simply have an opinion, and that's that.

I'm a KISS fan and a Summer Set fan and I will admit that this is not The Summer Set's best work. Their sound tends to be a bit more "happy". Perhaps another classic song would've been better. If you want a really great song from this album listen to The Maine's cover of "Pour Some Sugar on Me". I think that the reason that was good is perhaps because it was a less ambitious and less iconic song than this.
