Care to hear perhaps the greatest performance of this work ever recorded? Find that of Lazar Berman, which I believe he recorded for Deutsche Gramophone many years ago.
I have worked on this for some time now. Have great difficulty with it. Anyone who is knowledgable and could give me some pointers would be greatly appreciated. Other commentors are correct, this guy is awsome.
AWESOME! I play by ear and had to play this for a lady in a wedding. He's in Bb but we did it in Ab. I forgot if it was too high for her are and we dropped the key or the sample she had on a cass. was in Ab. What key is it written in? This guy is great esp. the left hand solo part!
bravo! I'm also working on this piece, I like the voicing. One small suggestion, I believe that if you take the tempo a little bit slower, it'll sound great!
Holy Hell, this is the most beautiful version I have ever heard. This could turn an atheist into a believer!
