This is such a bad movie. Snot nose criminals getting their own command, a villain so dumb that he makes Bevies and Butthead look like Steven Hawking, a teacher sleeping with a student does not tolerate otherstudents cheating on a no win test (It's Frank Burns from M.A.S.H.!), a super ship that can't take one tinny ship hitting it but can wipe out 2 armadas & Black holes that suck in everything but spits out ships into the past then just disappear. People actually like this shit?!

Star Trek is a Fantastic Movie, you must go and see it! Everyone questions why did they go back in the story line instead of going forward. Well in a way they did go forward, but not for Nero's actions nothing would have changed.

Im somewhat of a "trekkie" and the movie blew me away. Fanstastic. Covered an incredible amount of ground in 2 short hours. Didnt get bogged down at all, connected some dots, fleshed out the characters, and tons of action.

I've been a Trekker since Day One (yep 9/8/66) and have always kept an open mind with Trek in all it's incarnations. This trailer looks very promising and not the ST 90210 they have threatened in the past. If the film holds to it's promise, no one is going home disappointed.

Its like they had soooo many opportunities to develop further storylines from the other series (next Gen, DS9, and Voyager) like colabarations, returning characters (a la Khan). But instead they wack Data in a dumb way (prob to try to create the whole death of Spock controversy) but they do not try to bring him back Its so dumb and stupid....all in all they shud leave prequels to Star Wars and continue to Boldly Go FORWARD!!!!!

This is such an awesome trailer. It looks so spectacular. I cannot wait to see this movie. In my opinion, this movie has restored my faith in Star Trek to deliver. When I first saw the Enterprise in the teaser and when it was eventually revealed, my jaw hit the floor. This movie is going to take Star Trek to a whole new level of excitment.

I never been a Star Trek fan.

I hated the direction JJ Abrams taken for Mission Impossible III, he made Ethan Hawk into a married man and a wuss. Cloverfield as well fell below expectations, it was more of a cheesy love story in a monertously destroyed New York City.

But this... this actually looks pretty good. In a filmaking fad of origins such as Batman, Begins, Transformers and Casion Royale, I think this'll join the group of a good origin story.

Sure he made ethan into a married man, but its nice to see he tried to progress the story, cloverfield failed because nobody was expecting it to be that kind of movie. People go watch a movie expecting the version they made in thier mind. Hollywood has been failing with shitty movies, jj abrams has been trying to bring something different to the table.
