in a debut match, facing two legendary bowlers, wasim and waqar when india was trembling at 41-4....i was quite amazed to see the degree of his confidence....he played really good shots....ran for the double, even though he could have just taken a single to avoid them, he didn take a 3....looked to me as if he wanted the strike, and the challenge against the best of the world.....i'd say the man's got balls :)

there is no doubt about the fact that Sachin is one the greatest batsmen the world has ever seen..Hanif Mohammad the original little master said about him, that he was the only batsman in test cricket that reminded him of his early days as far as Sachin's technique is concerned..so yeah technically he is very sound..But it is quite unfortunate that Sachin could never really transform into a match winner. Ponting, Sir Viv, Dravid, Inzi they are legends and as well match winners.

I remember this day when the Test Match was being played.I asked my cousin what excuse can I make not to go to the School and watch cricket.He said to split the onion into two and put underarm.I did it and told mom I was feeling sick LOL.I was in 8th class at that time,I guess!
