IMO, letting Morrison go would be a big mistake for WWE. I know that he's been around for quite a while now, but I think that he still his potential. He has so much ability that it's tough to give up on him. TNA couldn't do anything with him. He'd just be spinning the wheels and cashing a check.

IMO, letting Morrison go would be a big mistake for WWE. I know that he's been around for quite a while now, but I think that he still his potential. He has so much ability that it's tough to give up on him. TNA couldn't do anything with him. He'd just be spinning the wheels and cashing a check.

I love the marks who get all butthurt about two people talking crap about their favorite wrestlers. The Don Tony & Kevin Castle Show, as well as Wrestling Soup, AND The Masked Maniac all have insight into the industry, what goes down in front of and off camera - they are industry analysts. How come 95%+ of DT's predictions come true? Obviously they know something.
Don't like it? Don't listen. Better yet, DO listen, listen and try it out, and you'll find yourself hooked.

Morrison would be a megastar if Heyman had the book. He would know how to book around his deficiencies (charisma).
With Morrison, he needs the RVD treatment. Emphasize his matches. Make him look legit tough as opposed to just a high flyer. Let him play a cocky prick, but a BABYFACE cocky prick. The attitude is "he knows how awesome he is and he's going to give the fans their money's worth".

Honestly, i doubt WWE is going to drop morrison. He still has a bit of a draw with the young ladies. People still buy the glasses and the shirts. It'd be a bad idea to just drop the guy. If he does go to TNA? It'd be interesting, but he'll be like the pope. The pope was amazing, then.... TNA just dropped him. If you push some wrestlers a little bit, enough to make the fanboys cream their pants but not enough to make them a superstar... you protect yourself in case they decide to go to another wrestling company. The random pushes and burials are intentional so that noone ever develops into a real superstar.

Morrison's persona is made for a heel yet they turned him face anyway, and that's where they messed up. He really isn't that bad as a heel. His stuff in MNM, and on ECW like his feud with CM Punk was pretty good. His problem is that when they turned him face he didn't know how to play to a crowd, his lines became corny, and his ring work became nothing but spots and botches. Give him back his heel persona, and a better finisher, then he'd be better off if not then just release him.
