yeah its done basically how you see it, there is no real secret to it. Its basically just running and hitting, It is just really hard to get the timing right.

It can work most of the time if you know how to time and place it correctly. It would be harder online with the lag.

i found a glitch guys. do a hell in a cell match, and do the free fall drop, you know the one when they go up and then you slam them down. they will end up on top of the cell

I wouldn't say its useless but it is more inefficient and impractical, above all its hard to pull off ; especially with lag online.

I would imagine that online is the only real place you would use it to gain the advantage over your opponent - even then they can still counter it pretty easy. So in conclusion I think it can come in handy to use once in a match, it will certainly confuse your opponent but if you use it again they might learn how to counter it.
