Always did love this version. TRB were the first band I ever saw live (Blackburn, St. George's hall - me & my two mates got mugged by a gang of punk rockers beforehand but managed to hide our tix).
btw - I smile at the nostalgic crackle & occasional skip of the vinyl on this offering. CDs are just too cold & clinical, eh? Not to mention that they get quieter the more they are played.
I love the way the verse sounds of this version (pun not intended). IMO they are a bit harsh on the chorus - not that the original had a refrain, anyway!!
