Light malt is good sign, too much malt robs the hoppy brightness of a IPA. Should more cloudy like Bridgeport, Boulevard, Avery, Titan.
Nevada Torpedo is too bright, so bright it blast you taste buds and ruin flavor other beers after. A blonde lager will taste like piss water after so save the IPA for last & drink a lot of water for it is 7% and very dry

Im with you I LOVE IPAs its my preferred beer and any time I get a lager for my keg it sits for months..
