You realize that the bacteria in your mouth need to be brushed off on a daily basis or else it just builds up, causing horrible bad breath witch I know you definitely have! That excess bacteria that you just leave there causes periodontal disease and cavities as well. You'll lose a lot of your teeth within the next 10 years, no doubt.

As for your mother having worse teeth than you, I don't really know what you mean by that. Does she get more cavities than you do? Does she have more restorations? If so, she's had her teeth in her head a lot longer than you so she had a much longer time to develop these things.
thankfully I can say that I've never acted like this to any of my dentists. However, sometimes I think dentists or dentist practices just don't give enough information to their patients. They didn't tell me that the whitening would fade, or it would make my teeth super-sensitive. When I got braces they didn't tell me I'd have to wear retainers for the rest of my life otherwise my teeth would go back, or that I'd get irritating jaw problems and TMJ. They also charge me £60 to clean my teeth.
I do not envy dentists. The last place I would want to poke around in every day are people's mouths. I would rather be a proctologist. I do not know what would possess anyone to go to dental school.
@whitewolfe001 how about the sports car in the drive of a huge house, with smells of delicious food comming from the huge kitchen with food prepared by a private chef, and maybe going for weekend cruse in a speedboat with your model wife. working 9-5 mon-fri.

Lol, sometimes its so sad that its funny. Had a patient tell me my years of studying was all wrong and that fluoride kills. Then gave me a CD that proves everything and then the CD was telling me about how root canals are poison and fluoride is poison, and extraction is the only way. (No evidence at all in CD) He also doesn't believe in amalgam fillings and white fillings. When asked what he wanted he just said "drill my decay and leave it"... O.o|||

Imagine having to listen to pedophiles, wife beaters, suicidal patients, drug addicts and people who are generally screwed up on a regular basis. Of course not every patient is that bad, but it doesn't take many.
i dont feel bad for dentists at all. they pick that job they went to school for it and they get paid pretty good. there are alot of over people out there that dont have the money, time, or smarts to go to college. so they have to work 2 or 3 jobs they HATE to pay the bills. if you make over $35,000 a year off one job stop crying.
At least you dentists have a nice salary lol! I'm going to be a pharmacist so I'll deal with this soon enough. One lady got pissed at me because the q-tips rang up 2.99 a box instead of 1.99 at CVS!
I once went to a dentist and had a couple cavities removed without any numbing or pain killing medicine. It didn't hurt a bit. I don't mind the dentists anymore.
I LOVED this!! Glad I am not the only one trying to get through to people....they (and insurance companies)can drive you caaaraaaazy....Thank goodness for red wine.......
