Why didn't they use this cloud and sephiroth in kingdom hearts Sephiroth's voice sounds way more awesome in this game and they both say cooler phrases.Cloud should have like a medium-sized buster sword at the beginning of fights and long hair and then when he soups-up his hair should spike up and then he gets like the sword in this clip mixed with the FF7 ultima weapon.Sephiroth should have a slightly shorter sword with the black materia in it and cool looking armor I'm just say'in it'd be cool.

@Masterpivot292 I think 3 was a significant improvement over 1, if you ever played the translation. Had more story, a better class system (but still similar) and the world was more diverse. Having said that, 9 remains my favorite just because I think it has THE best story.

Cloud's better suited to turtling and can devastate faster if given the chance. Sephiroth is more versatile and (IMO) an overall better character. But both have their advantages and are perfectly legit choices. Of course, the dreadful gameplay in this old video doesn't come close to doing either of them justice.

And to those who don't know, Dissidia has the main hero and villain from FF1-10, as well as Shantotto and Gabranth.

personally ive only played like 3 final fantasy games.(3,4,13, and crisis core). but i dunno what's the big deal with final fantasy 7. everyone says that it was the best final fantasy and there's no other final fantasy that can compare. but to me final fantasy 4 was my favorite. epic story and awesome characters.

Look, Cloud is a med speed character with predictable attacks but if they land they can do some serious damage. Sephiroth is a fast character that can build combos very easily but outside of Scintilla, can't land brave attacks in the slightest because they're just as obvious as Cloud's. If a person likes Cloud chances are they're good at timing and striking. If a person likes Sephiroth then they more than likely prefer staying a good feet away and to beat-down their opponent

In all likely hood, they were either using 2 PSP's and switching back and forth between the 2 players points-of-view, or they were in a Replay: theres a certain button that lets you look at it from the other persons point of view. i forgot which one though.

@theextreme19 cloud's attacks have such extreme range and pursuing movement, as well as unfair damage, plus an ex mode that defense crushes every thinkable move. AND Braver has cheatish homing and out-prioritizes EVERY move in the game, even Chaos's HP finishers. Cloud is noobish and broken. NOT AT ALL "wack".

Cloud isn't noobish and broken. Cloud's braver takes far too long to charge up, just enough time for an enemy to dodge to the side and attack him (easily what I do using cloud himself vs cloud, so it's even), dodging his attacks are incredibly easy as well, I've mastered Cloud's style, and he isn't hard to beat either. I'd love to post up a video, but I've got no USB, really. I can beat him on max difficulty with about any character of my liking. EX Mode: Just dodge of course.

Wait a second, braver out-prioritizes every move? When I fight Chaos, and he uses Condemn, I use my braver, I float through him and he hits me. And when I use Braver against Sephiroth's Octaslash, we parry (same for most of the other moves). The only times that Cloud (or any other melee move using character) hits a ranged special attack, it WILL go through. Clashing has a similar effect for Range-on-Ranged, they'll clash past each other.

@crissdudeman777 @reikodiana yes, but by far he is the most naturally strong character on the cosmos side, and second only in the game, perhaps, to garland. His Ex-Mode is what makes him devastating due to his formidable guard crash ability. Most people don't give Cloud enough credit because they are foolish in thinking that he is an assault character, but u don't use him like that. He is a guard and counter character, and that is his greatest ability. especially against someone like Chaos.

He does have a high attack stat but there are others with just as much or more, everyone in the games stats are almost identical the only thing that chnges them are equipment and acc.
