How do you do the intro?? Have you seen here there is an acoustic version of the song and its just Rob thomas and the Guitarist Kyle Cook and the intro is done on a guitar not a banjo, its sooo pretty and i cant find how to do it!

barre chords are awesome once you get used to them but until then check out my videos on barre chords

@gally042 .Yes,go to a guitar tabs web site,find the song you want;look for the transponder tool they have,and find a version that wont take any barre chords.then buy yourself a capo and find the fret that gives you the tone you feel most comfortable singing on and voilà! never use a barre chord again!

hi is it possible to switch the F#m for a regular Cadd9 chord and swap the C#m for a regular G chord? I hate barre chords they make my hand cramp up. I know its not exact but will it sort of sound the same?

i dont think that will work, just try to get the barre and if you cant get it and you want to ttry something different trry just not barrine so where the F#m you have the setup 244222 just play 244000 and for the C#m is 046650, try those

Aaron is there anyway around barring those chords. Like F Sharp Minor, or C sharp minor. I can not do the bar chords. I dont know why my fingers are just to little or maybe to soft, Ireally dont think Ill ever do it. Is there a way to cheat and get a similar sound. Thanks Bro

hey chance, the thing i used to do when i had problems was just eliminate the barre but still keep the finger on the low e string or the a string, so lets say u are doing a F barre chord which is set up EADGBE like 133211 i would just do 133200 so instead of the barre i just put my finger on the first fret of the low E string, and so on, try that and or try using extra light strings and gettin the action lowered on your guitar at a guitar shop, those will make it easier too

haha hey man, try extra light or light strings, or have someone at a guitar shop lower the action on your guitar to make it easier, and try to keep your thumb on the center of the back or the neck of the guitar to give you more power to squeeze, and by the way barre still screw me over too, i know what to do i just cant do it something either man, keep on playing, you'll get it
