Hi, I hope somebody can help me ! (scanning with oSX / Image capture)

I am able to scan, but when the iage is on the screen it is dead- that means I cant work with it.

Also the bloke on the video is saying, that image capture comes with every mac. In my program folder there is only an icon of "digital pictures"

Never ever bothered to look at this little program (Image Capture)........ have been using a really old scanner (usb) with an old Imac (tangerine) running OS9... er yes I know.. just sits in the corner of the room.. software for the scanner is incompatible with OSX.. so I just carried on regardless..... NOW!!! I can use image capture to use this old scanner..

Hi Elliot yet again another great video! I was having some trouble sharing my printer over my network. I believe i set my sharing settings properly, just when I browse devices on another computer it shows under the "kind" coloum a blue strikethrough or something, any insight?

Hi there, not sure exactly what is up with your particular scanner. You could always try installing the drivers that came with it and then using image capture again.

great video Elliott! Got excited when i got notified that you had another video. I have one problem with Image Capture - is there a way to save your settings? We had a ton of black and white photos we wanted to scan but every time we started a new scan it had reverted to color - very tedious!
