I always took the song to mean that Elizabeth wanted to set up a stable and safe home for her baby, whom she was pregnant with and had during the recording and release of this album. A fairly valid concern when the father has a severe drug problem.

Ummm...I'm not sure if this is what "Pitch The Baby" meant (LOL!!!), but this is one of their best songs off of the album! I'm sad that they are no more, but am glad that I had a chance to see them back in '96!

Yeah, I kind of agree if you are talking about this video. I don't know if this song really had anything to do with tosing babies and this video and the song don't really match for me. I think that the Heaven or Las Vegas album is sort of dark and sad sounding to me including this song and this video does not really represent that for me. Sorry, but good effort I guess.
