haahaha these two are so hammered!.. i just had this beer, they sell them at wegmans for $13.99 a bottle. its not too bad, depending on your flavor... sweet, but at it doesn't loose the beer taste what so ever :]...
Love the video but need to disagree with the drunken woman. I thought this beer was the greatest! Especially with the ladies, they'll love it! Get it a Trader Joe's.
I had to give two reviews, because this is really a fantastic video, i can tell you've both had more than your share and i'll know not to ever try that beer for sure. Miss hanging with you guys!
i finally had some time to get caught up on my videos. ah yes the lindmans framboise. i dont like fruity beers. but if you do. these guys do a great job. good thing you did grabbed the cork remover/bottle opener... proper glass, everything. great review. very surprised melissa didn't like it though....
i've got some Franziskaner to review, but i had to archive my last memory card because i used it at the Caustic/Korn concert in Rochester i was working at on monday... if i can find a 1 gig card i'll review in moments. stay tuned
I've only had 2 types of Frambics in my lifetime. A lemon one and a raspberry one. I truly do think these are an aquired taste. They certainly are not beer in my mind but more of a cider gone horribly wrong. Atleast you primed yourself up for them though ;)
Fun review! How much of that Sierra Nevada did you drink before reviewing this?
It does look like Magic Hat Wacko. I actually had this beer (the Lindemans) a few weeks ago at my brother's wedding and thought it was pretty good. I think you need to, like Chris said, take the traditional "beer " image and throw it out the door b4 trying it.
this was very entertaining! I don't think I have tried this beer, it sounds like the Blueberry beer I did a review on that was just terrible! Lets see a tour of this mansion hehe!
This is the first time that I've completely disagreed with you, Gary!
I adore this beer, and yes, framboise is Flemish for raspberry.
It's a slow sipping kind of beer, and you need to have a fresh palate to truly appreciate the BEER qualities of this beyond the raspberries. I could drink this all day every day. :-)
Good review, buddy, but I have to respectfully disagree.
Strange people those Americans... It's hard to find someone in Belgium who drinks lindemans framboise... stay away from those framboise, peche etc. stuff...you need to try CHERRY CHERRY CHERRY... lindemans has one of the best CHERRY beers!!! No one here like's this framboise stuff, i think we all export it ;-)...try lindemans cherry... you will be amazed!!!
That's interesting to know. I was told the Framboise is the best. If I can stand to spend another $10 someday, maybe I'll buy some cherry. But I don't know if I can do it for quite a while. I guess I should have asked my Belgium friend before I made the purchase!
I personally prefer the Framboise (raspberry) over the Kriek (cherry). But not everyone enjoys the sour qualities of wild yeast, and some people are just against fruit in their beer. I, personally, enjoy sour fruity flavors, so this beer made me quite happy. You just have to put the traditional idea of "beer" out of your head. Any other fruit beer would make me puke, but a good lambic always lights up my day.
Oh God what a riot! My Dad told me the only way HIS dad could ever drink ANY beer was to hold his nose while drinking it! He would say "I hate the taste but I like the kick!"

Framboise is pronounced "Fram-BWAH"

having just reviewed this and the Pomme I think the thing with lambics is either you love them or you hate them because they're so tart.
You could try adding some sugar to it to take the edge off of the tartness.
Plus you guys were 3 sheets to the win when you reviewed this ;)

Im sorry, but if you give Lambic a poor review, I couldn't take a review of a barbie doll from you guys seriously.

Also, I'd take the online sites like BA with a grain of salt.

I was disappointed, lambics are supposed to be funky and sour. They do a pretty bad job.

Her facial expression at 4:41 tells us everything about what she thinks of that Lambic.

actually it is pronounced FRABUAZ with the A's like the one in the word "ant" and the U like the OO combo in the word " pool ".
Amazing video mate. I have tried this one in the past and did not like it...

I heard you guys are really good actors and you're really not that drunk ;)
But if you are, it's not wise to review beer when you're that inebriated.
I would watch you guys no matter how sober or drunk you are!
