here I go again !! Ever Since I bought the 12 vocal/ instrumental version 12" single back in the late 70's the VERY first thing I did was to make MY own Re-EXTENDED version of this great disco classicv. It runs EXACTLY 12 minutes long. I could have EASILY made it another 8 minutes longer . I LOVE IT !! I LOVE IT !! I LOVE IT !!

Is the verse "Lost inside..." not being sung on the instrumental version? This would be great for Karaoke, without the sung part, of course, rather the original instrumental version should be slightly edited to match the 5:58 sung version with the long string of Na na na's... which could be taken from the original since no lead vocal gets sung in this part. That and scrolling lyrics... perfect Karaoke combination. :-)

If you check out Blondie's album 'Blondie Singles Collection: 1977-1982' you'll find the original 12" and instrumental versions. The 12" version runs to 5.50 which is a bit short and is missing the lovely instrumental outro as the album Parallel Lines (but thats my opinion). This is the version that I would have edited to cassette all those years ago (now I'm showing my age...)

This birngs back great memories of listening to this iconic 70's dance (Disco) Rock record when i was almost 7 years old back in 1979. It was this record that got me hooked into the group Blondie. Kudos and respect to you for posting this extended clip!
