@morderca95 The folks I talk to told me these 45ACP "Grease" guns are still in stock at many bases in the USA even today .Up close and personal it's purty frigging hard to do much better then one of these things .
@GrigoriZhukov because of its rate of fire, recoil, long magazines, giant size, and hand breaking 45. caliber when hit. I also can say that thompson is decent CQB gun... Dude compare it to old and used mp5's that are NOWADAYS decent cqb weapons. Oh and scope... I hope you can hit something using this on 80 meters.
@morderca95 The recoil on the M3A1 isn't any worse than a M1911A1 and yes I've fired both. Qualifed expert with both. Anything with 9mm needs a high rate of fire to acheive ANY knock down ability. The slower rate of the M3 makes it far easier to control...skilled hands can acheive burst from 1rd to an empty magizine. Can't do that with a Thompson and the MP5 gets around the issue by having a selector switch. 8^) With the M3, M1911A1 and the thompson you can take out targets at 90m.
@morderca95 It's lighter than the Thompson...and uses the same magazines but keep trying. Keep trying, the thompson is expensive to build HEAVY and difficult to maintain. Cleanliness is essential to it whereas the M3/A1 doesn't mind if you wipe it down once in a while.
@GrigoriZhukov Oh man you really had to check what is heavier, the thompson was not even a cqb weapon and we are talking that M3 is a "decent" CQB thing, not bout a thompson. Even terrorists do not use this, even in afghanistan, iraq, and in the USA. I cannot argue with you because i never shoot M3A1 nor thompson.

@SwoggerBoy nice man well said but we need bolos. we conduct counter insurgency and we haven't got enough silencers so we improvise and besides they use bolos inside rebel bunkers where in they''re restricted and they don't have enough carbines to finish the job. its something very unique about our sf and most of the time us operatives rely on firearms and combat knife example is the ka bar but sometimes these firearms jams and we need to use an alternative just like bolos and bayonets ^^ oorah!

@morderca95 The folks I talk to told me these 45ACP "Grease" guns are still in stock at many bases in the USA even today .Up close and personal it's purty frigging hard to do much better then one of these things .

@GrigoriZhukov because of its rate of fire, recoil, long magazines, giant size, and hand breaking 45. caliber when hit. I also can say that thompson is decent CQB gun... Dude compare it to old and used mp5's that are NOWADAYS decent cqb weapons. Oh and scope... I hope you can hit something using this on 80 meters.

@morderca95 The recoil on the M3A1 isn't any worse than a M1911A1 and yes I've fired both. Qualifed expert with both. Anything with 9mm needs a high rate of fire to acheive ANY knock down ability. The slower rate of the M3 makes it far easier to control...skilled hands can acheive burst from 1rd to an empty magizine. Can't do that with a Thompson and the MP5 gets around the issue by having a selector switch. 8^) With the M3, M1911A1 and the thompson you can take out targets at 90m.

@morderca95 It's lighter than the Thompson...and uses the same magazines but keep trying. Keep trying, the thompson is expensive to build HEAVY and difficult to maintain. Cleanliness is essential to it whereas the M3/A1 doesn't mind if you wipe it down once in a while.

@GrigoriZhukov Oh man you really had to check what is heavier, the thompson was not even a cqb weapon and we are talking that M3 is a "decent" CQB thing, not bout a thompson. Even terrorists do not use this, even in afghanistan, iraq, and in the USA. I cannot argue with you because i never shoot M3A1 nor thompson.

@morderca95 ah but in it's first life that was part of it's purpose. They use the AK's because they are cheap and available. I disagree with the experts on the best weapon though. The best is a short barreled semi-auto/automatic shotgun. 8^) Real world it's a more certain first round kill shot than anything out their. 8^)
