There's nothing wrong with that, I mean nobody agrees how zombies start; chemical disease, magic or whatever. So if it's a disease then the disease can cause anything the writer wants; like lower brain activity but not kill it.

@sicoy No, stephanie meyer makes the bible seem like an epic saga. This guy on the other hand can apparently write. The idea of a zombie love story is pretty stupid, but he still accurately displays zombies. All he does is give them a new aspect; absorbing memories when they eat a brain. Doesn't matter if the idea is bullshit, if he can explain it really well and can write really well then he has succeeded as a writer.

I love this book. It is better then most people think it is. Yes, I thought it sounded stupid, but after the first couple chapters it ended up being really good. Trust me you are missing out if you are not reading this! Its nothing like Twilight! Read it and it will change your mind! I love this book and I'm thrilled that they are making it into a movie. I just hope that they don't ruin it or try to make it like twilight. And all you people who(think they)hate this are very closed minded people.

The first time i heard they were going to make a movie about a zombie falling inlove with a human. I thought that was the stupidest thing ever and i said it probably going to be as bad as twilight*
but im not close minded so i gave it a try and read the book. Let me tell you one thing this book is not for 10 / 12 year old little girls.It's not a cheese love story. & please don't compare it to twilight. So just go and fucking read the book before you judge it. It's actually a really good book.
