  • hi there please could you link me to the wheels and tyres because i want to get some black good offroad ones that will fit my cc01 and i see you have them soo...

  • @ALEXSUPERCROS99

Black Steel Rim Crawler Tire 96mm from Ansmann Racing

    Part No.: 211000222

    www3.ansmann.de/cms/de/raederfelgen/18-crawler.html

  • how tall is it?

  • @cbstone1999

    Length: 422mm (16.6 inch) ● Width: 195mm (7.7 inch) ● Height: 200mm (7.9 inch) ● Weight: 1480g ● Wheelbase: 242mm (9.5 inch)

  • how many inches is 1/10 of a scale?

  • @cbstone1999

1/10 scale means the model is 10 times smaller than the original one, even in metric or inches. Is the real car 157 inch the model is 15,7 inch, this is the length of the Bronco.

  • how tall off the ground is yours?

  • @cbstone1999

    About 35mm / 1.38 inch

  • I'm trying to decide in buying a 55 turn motor for my cc-01 jeep. would you happen to know if the 55 turn motor is to slow? what do you recommend?

  • @rcfreak35

In my CC-01 I use the lightly tuned motor from Tamiya Nr. 53983. This motor have 28 turns and have a good torque and rpm. This combination works very well in my CC-01! Alternatively, you can also use the CR-Tuned Motor with 35 turns, Nr 54114.

  • great video and bronco, i just ordered a bronco for my son and a jeep wrangler for myself. what radio are you using? would I need one with end point adjustments? last question! universal swing shafts or stock? Thank you very much. and keep those videos coming!!

  • @rcfreak35

I have a Futaba 4PL, a very good RC system for a good price. It have all important functions and is a 4-channel system. That means if you want to control a winch, lights or something like this you can do this with the 3. and 4. channel. Last question i can't understand what do you mean? Please explain more....

  • would you recomend this truck for light crawling and trail driving

  • @rcrockcrawlerfreak1

Yes, the CC-01 chassis is good for off road trailing and light crawling!

  • Hi, are those 96mm or 108mm Ansmanns? Great video btw!

  • @Majktheman

Thank you! :-) Those are 96mm!

  • @Matteomeier Okay, then I have the exact same ones as you. Look great on your Bronco! :)

  • Thanks matteomeier.

  • Love the video. I watch yours frequently. I have s CC-01 that I'm building. I saw in your comments you are running the stock ESC. Are you also running the stock motor?

  • @Scion4Runner

Yes, in the beginning a have used the stock esc and the stock motor. But now I use a crawling esc from Robitronic: Speedstar 2 Crawler eddition. And the Motor is the lightly tuned motor from Tamiya (nr. 53983)

  • is it waterproof or do u have to do that yourself?

  • @ezgoin11

I have only protected the electronics, esc and receiver

  • im gettin one so i was wondering which battery pack to get and which 2 channel radio system to get

  • @starplus1890

You can use a 7.2 volt NiMh battery or a 7.4 volt 2 cell lipo battery. search in the web "LRP"

A 2 channel radio system for rc cars is good, search "futaba"

  • @Matteomeier Thanks alot and great job on the video

  • @starplus1890 you can buy the kit from towerhobbies that comes with everything for about $275

  • Well done

  • Thanks again i will be getting ansmann black steel rim wheels and tyres for my cc-01 good price to!

  • Fantastic thanks for such a quick reply just one more question will i need to modify parts to get the wheels on or do they just bolt on easy?

  • @Alexcheshire

No, you have nothing to modify, you can easy the tires bolt on on the chassis!

  • Brilliant video. Im going to buy a cc-01 very soon was wondering what wheels you are using with those ansmann tyres? Also do the ansmann tyres rub on the chasis? Or rub on the body? Would really appreciate your help on this matteomeier

  • @Alexcheshire

Thank you! The tyres and wheels came together, this is a set from Ansmann Racing: Black Steel Rim Crawler Tire 96mm.

Those tires will not rub on the chassis or body!

  • @chevyrocks54

The cc-01 has in front a double wishbone suspension, rear a 4-link suspension with straight axle, this is stock setup. This text is from the Tamiya Japan homepage: Excellent ground-hugging, long-stroke suspension system consists of front double wishbone and rear 4-link rigid setups and is equipped with 4 oil dampers.

Maybe the americans have made a mistake!

  • hey i am thinking about gettin 1 of these do you recomend this or the axial scx10

  • @jeremy878785

The cc-01 has in front a double wishbone suspension, rear a 4-link suspension with straight axle. The scx10 has in front and rear a 4-link suspensions with axles. The cc-01 is more like a real car, the scx10 like a trail truck, the scx10 is better for rock crawling. Both of them are good....

  • Tolles video, das bronco seht sehr gut aus!

  • @roog909

    Danke!

  • I just got one of these and am about to paint it. My friend said your supposed to paint the inside like traxxas bodies but I thought you were supposed to paint the outside?

  • @imthepatton

You have to paint a lexan body from the inside, first the darker colors than the brighter. You have to apply each color with several thin layers.

  • Are you running the stock ESC? If so did you plasti-dip it?

  • @WATCHMAN5000

Yes, I running the stock esc, but I've done nothing for the waterproofness

  • joli bronco

  • Where did you get the killer wheels and tires? Thanks,

  • @redmax34

I get it in my local hobby store, the manufacturer is in germany, I don't know where you can get it in the USA. Maybe you can find it on the web: Black Steel Rim Crawler Tire 96mm from Ansmannracing

  • @Matteomeier got mine from modelsport uk if that helps

  • @desafinado490

Mine was about 300, I buy it on a local hobby store.

  • Have you waterproofed it and if so how did you do the reciever or what 1 did you buy thanx

  • @scalelandy

I made only the receiver waterproof. For this I used a liquid rubber, called Plasti Dip.

  • @Matteomeier Thanks for the info i will use some my self

  • awesome! was it a fairly easy build? im thinking about getting a kit, and this is one i have been looking at, i just dont want to get something too expensive or hard to build even though i have some experience.

  • @traxxas117

The CC-01 kit from Tamiya is not so hard to build, and not too expensive! I like it!

  • awesome! was it a fairly easy build?

  • What is the top speed on this car? is this the top speed of the car in the video?

  • @boatcaptin14

No, in this video, this is not the top speed of the car. The top speed is about 30 km/h.

  • Also what wheels and tires are those? Thx

  • @bubu8947

Yes, the body come with light buckets, but it's not pre drilled and cutted, the tires and wheels are Black Steel Rim Crawler Tire 96mm from Ansmannracing

  • Did the body come with light buckets? And was the body pre drilled from the factory?

  • that thing is awesome! im looking at buying one. Waht can u tell me? lol

  • Do this car have an lighting system ???

  • @patwill0007
